just saw this [posted on] http://www.fruit-machine.net/board/B...d&threadID=389
do these newish guidelines mean that some older machines cannot legally be displayed in arcades now ? [e.g. machines with cash full lamps]...
comments?
Cheers for that Alex.
About time they tightened the ropes....the cash full light is a complete joke! 99% of the time they aren't....
Also good to see the
'no chance of success'
and
'the outcome of any game....'
labels on most new AWPs. Of course it's blindly obvious to us players, but casual punters need to know this kinda thing.
Matt
Yes, saw those stickers too for 'no chance of success'
Barcrest should of took 'Repeat Chance' off their Hot Stuffs -> Vamp's/Shark's as with BAxe/Rev's/Ultimos/Golden Dragons etc.
Unfortunately, the main streak couldn't be at the top of the cash, features and streak columns...
Players should be aware fruit machines are all predetermined anyway just by their very nature.
all this no chance of sucess etc is just stating the obvious.
Why has it come to this?
Machines do know what they are doing, how many times have you played a m/c and know whats gonna happen next, you know the m/c is dead say but you continue... You have to know the exact state the m/c is in, and thats how you make money, ie you put 10 in and take 2 out and know its extremely dead you take the loss and go for another machine, you know if you continue with the 2 quid and 10 more youre gonna get screwed, but machines these days follow the same patterns, you live and learn...

matt: all the cash full light means is that the machine is not requiring an imminant refill! everyone should know that! more useful is the notechanger. if its not giving change, it may well be worth being extremely careful.
you are living proof that god has a sense of humour.
Notechanger light on means the 125 hopper for notes is full, off means less than 125 in it.Originally Posted by cfdu
