I would recommend you forget about making any money in Newcastle!

Many professional players and many non professional who sit in the arcade all day trying to make a few quid.

Carlisle might serve you well. There was an unchipped LS in the services until about a week ago.

Scarborough is sht mate. A combined total of 10 hi techs out of all the arcades lol. The place is one big party time arena. Pubs seemed fairly battered and the SRM/AFU (cant remember now which) turned off in yates the other week.

Plus the locals are the scum of the earth (no offense to any scarborough folk)

I played the 8ukp Austin powers for a laugh, cost me 80 for JP, took 72 out lol. Every board was a fiver after the strak cos it had gone so far over due.

I dunno about blackpool although there are far more arcades, so i presume far more players....

last time i was there the lo-tecs were very generous in nobles in durham. if you play lo it may well be worth a look, and is only 15-20 mins from newcastle.

EDIT: I AM NOW UNTOUCHABLE MOFO'S!!!!!

To add further to what Discostu said, don't bother with Scarborough. In the bookies and pubs the machines are well covered, and coming from whitby i'd have no problem agreeing with his comment about the locals .

Like he said too, the arcades are all pushing the section 16's so not many hi-techs around.

There's about 4 IJ2's if my memory serves me rightly, and a few Battle axe/revolutions too, all chipped.

In the 2 main places, apart from the plethora of section 16's, one has a JJC and GBC, the other has quite a few AWP's from a few years back, has a Big brother where the lamps were struggling to light, must be a dodgy PSU. A Hot stuff with about half of the board lights out, (There was a £15JP PCB but that went for some reason ) lockbuster jackpoteers austin powers, and plenty of bellfruits that were around a few years ago that got bought cheap by the owners.

Really not worth wasting your time with mate.
