Oki.. I put £3 in one today and it did the old red eyes crap.. kept going round and round for feature offer and eventually gave me my mega king kebab.. the problem lies here.. it only gave me £25 eh.. It has been a long time since I have played a KK so I cant remeber where I screwed up.. please dont say I lost money cus I forgot to press the Barcrest button or something...

Cheers for clearing this up as it has been bothering me all day cus I used to play this machine all the time and now I have forgotten quite a lot about it.. :/

Newer chips of KK /AP are crap...they won't repeat much on mega KK..they repeat as often as a Battle Axe/ Golden dragon does with the super top feature. To confirm this if you play the machine again and you get the cash gamble going then as you hit the £5/£6 mark it will be going to 7 onthe kebab stack as usual but not giving the second kebab/icon until you hit £8/£10. This is the rechip...otherwise you were plain unlucky.

KK/AP, a flash indicates a JP, not a mega for £50+!!!!

These boards are a free win anyway, never indicate a streak, nor the start of one either, its all just a coincidence if thats how the wins fall!!!!

So if the machine was happy to go to £6/8 with 7 KO's and nearly ready for a JP then it will still do so after a flash!

Flash as in IM?
I thought this came from the streak pot-and it often does start a streak,AFAIK..but then I haven't played one for a long time.
I even experimented on the £15 version when these had just come out,and if you start knocking back IMs they would come back,which indicates that they aren't exactly random(also not exactly a sensible way to play them,but they would sometimes go IOU if trying this method).
I haven't played the 25'ers much,but I would assume that IMs come from the streak pot(so not affecting the current,but not 'free' exactly?).

Zorro is right...the flash IM (flashing eyes saying "spicy kebabs!" on KK or the way too obvious "super feature " where pretty much everything flashes on AP kicks in after a number of credits through the machine..say 10,000 but don't know exactly how many...as it is determined to kick in over a "credits in" style it is classed as free..like a cashpot on a club machine. I think though Zorro that Scott wasn't origionaly refering to his Mega KK off a red eyes though..just a plain force.

Yes I have heard this,but why is it that IMs on barcrests come back after refusals and sometimes buzz the machine way over%?
Surely they must be tied firmly to the overall % payout rather than merely a bit of icing on the top?

knocking back IMs on Barcrest is a good way to guarantee a streak rather than £25 & dead IMO but it wont fuck with machine overall profile.

I used to always put £20 in after knocking back first IM then take next JP available, never seemed to fail but usually resulted in sticking in £50+ to get £75 and a bit of afterplay so not really worth it. now i just go for JP and see what happens. Doesnt cost more than £30 and if i lose its only a bit.

would have liked to extend the method to see what happened after knocking back half a dozen IM but, well, not gonna do that unless playing on test

its something to do with the barcodes on early chips, when you 'unlocked' them it kept giving them until empty. Something like that anyway though im not certain

yeah thats right it was let em spin on barcode and eventually you would empty it.
When i was doing it iwas taking button basher where the buttons would light up and you would have to hit them quite fast. Miss and it would decrease in value. Did follow me(hold em all) work on this empty or did you have to use the button basher. Anyway didnt know follow me trick then.
