Thanks
Hi Bryn.
Welcome to the forums.
If you have read this:

then you would've found at least this:

hard to search on top dog, as it contains too little characters, even with Barcrest Top Dog as the string doesn't aquire it, maybe someone will help ya out on Top Dog.
Plugging: can be worked on some methods/emptiers most of the time when in IM, you PLUG the machine (you unplug/switch off/on the machine) to reset it, some methods work with it.
A Streak is a continous or repeated win of a certain value. For example most barcrest machines can streak between £75-100, even a £25 repeater can be classed as a streak in a way. Depends how buzzed up the machine is.
Hope this helps![]()

Hope this helps

Darren, on most barcrests if Im forcing and going for a big run I tend to even knockback JP's on GH, Tutti Fruttie or whatever, but I do actually remember recalling cash attack taking Crazy Cash, for true skill jackpot half way through force, then it triggering a streak. Might have to try that in future, might save a few bob, but I suppose its how buzzing the machine is tbh.

Thanks alot. what dya mean bastard of a block? Any more tips / emptier things for top dog
blocks on "tutti" and "win series" then before u can get to top dog - throws an IM on ya and forces a JP on ya

A block on top dog? Not what I would call a 'bastard' - aka Bell Fruits/Mazooma type block.
I personally thing Big Cheese and clones were some of the most (without a real method) profitable machines of recent times.. the problem with some people is they actually see the block as they play it for a long time.. each board comes within a few quid then you piss around on the board trying to get a jackpot (which you wont get) then die.. then repeat over and over till about £15-£30 has gone in then JP will come.. it is best to just try a few boards to see hows it playing then spin through about £10-£15 then see how much it has improved.. JP is likely to take a hell of a lot less time this route... same priciple for most machines.. you are not going to 'miss' a Jackpot.
Also knockbacks, in my opinion DO work on BC + clones.. many would disagree but I hold firmly by this statement. Obtain a jackpot board then die without taking it. Do this for about £15-£20 then take Jackpot.. if you have put about £40 in to get to this then you are very likely to end up £40+ in my experiance.
Also I would certainly advise pushing the hi/lo gmables on the fruits.. I dont know why so many people dont.. why exchange in at £1 with all nudges/features so low down when 2 or 3 gambles is the equilvant of about 6 presses on the board?
Beware as I KNOW for a fact there are different software versions out for all of these machines that must be installed at random because some play VERY differently to each other..
Tpyical signs (brief overview) for BC + Clones.
£5+ consistant on shots (£8+ and Jackpot is very close)
Being allowed to lap around the superboard more than twice
Being allowed to enter often with 3 dogs on the winline.
Being allowed to exchange in at £4+ (definatly push these gambles.. it saves so many presses on the board)
One last tip is watch out for Golden Hold Jackpot as it just comes out of no where... I know this contridcits my point about just spinning through a tenner or so but I do believe if its offering JP on GH its ready to offer JP by another means anyway or not very far off.
Hope some of this helps.. sorry about my usual poor punctuantion/spelling
Why has it come to this?
Thats the way i took it at first, if the pots there it will give it from any jackpot so u dont need to force for IM, on top dog when u get to top dog on the feature stack it just spins in jp right??Originally Posted by DannyC

well it will offer £5 shots on chipped ones, but unchipped all you need is to see 2 £4 rep shots, and it is gh ready. once you have seen this you should ONLY be on the board with set ups. use your boost immediately to try and achieve gh, unless you have superboard open and have survived the ? to let you onto there, as there are a couple of +2 and even 1 +3 features up there. use boost when you are about to spin off superboard, as you are garunteed to hit the ? in the bottom right.
i do not see any point in knockbacks on this. it will not overcompensate. with gh, you should be getting jp in less then it costs. if it streaks then great, if not come back in 2 days.
chipped ones are a different kettle of fish. the only 'steal' is the main event on the superboard. otherwise it is a straight force. you will know a chip as it will avoid giving gh even without setup, and will offer £5 or £10 on shots quickly, then block jp forever.
you are living proof that god has a sense of humour.
