    Default Fruit Machine Controls

Hello there, im new to this forum and am searching for some help with my machine.

Its Hyper viper. When i open the machine and it restarts, how do i go about getting the list of options? Like the bulb tests and coin tests ect ect. Once i open it, its asks if i want to read the meters, i select cancel and it all lights up.. pressing start begins the test gaming (giving me £12.50 to test with). Where do i go from here to get all the controls? E.G- bulb test, coin testing, hopper dump

Also could anyone tell me that if i read the meters, does it do anything to them? like clear them or restart ect? and is it possible to clear the meters by pressing any buttons.. as i dont want to do that by accident.

    I have all keys

    Lee

    lo Lee.

Dont know tbh, BUT usually if you try different button combos it will guide you around the machine.

This even works with mpu4 machines on test on emulators, you can guide yourself around the board once.

I didn't get chance to test my machines, but on one of my machines if I held cancel and hold/nudge1 then it worked its way around the board until I let go then it would add to the stack that I landed on.

It doesn't matter about a manual, just test yourself using ALL buttons available, especially cancel, if its on test mode and it offers mystery 9/10 holding cancel will slow it down (not deluding you, but it wont work on a proper machine not in test mode) and just try stuff like that.

You can also nudge a win in at any time yourself by 'usually' holding down the cancel button and nudging the win in as you normally would, but by holding cancel you would have unlimited nudges thus concluding any win you nudge in, once the win you want is nudged in, hold all numbers, and spin for the win.

    Hope this helps

    hey, thanks for the reply

But what i ment was, when i have the door open, how do i get onto the controls.. for bulb testing and dump like £5 ect ect?

It starts by saying read meters... if i press cancel..it will start the test gaming.. if i press start, i end up with all the meters that dont mean anything to me at the moment

Read your manual or Trial and error.

Open the door, wait for the menu to initialise, then press either hold 1,2,3 or collect to swap menus.

Dumping doesnt usually vary that much between machines usually put in refill key, put in dashboard key but dont open top door, and hit start... should dump.

Hey, i dont have the manual.. and cant find anywhere to get it :S

The hold or collect buttons do not do anything to the machine. The screen shows DOOR OPEN and the lights are all light up. Then it says some percentages ect and returns to DOOR OPEN. Is there something i have to do to get to these options?

    Dashboard key
    Whats this?

Sorry about this, i do have some knowledge on fruit machines, its just the accessing it and terminology

dunno whether its slang, but dashboard I mean the key that opens the top of the machine up. Put that in but no need to open the top up as such, just flick the bolt over, then uncle's ya fanny!

oh right, well this machine doesnt have a button on the otherside of the upper door lock. In otherwords, it doesnt detect the lock being unlocked. I have a machine which does have a door unlocked detector, but this one doesnt.

Anyway, i have taken a look at the machine again tonight and still cant see how to get to these options (Even the holds and collect button).. Is there some sort of pattern of presses i have to do to gain access ect? does that exist?
    --EDIT---
I have been searching around and it appears that you just press the 'TEST' button inside. It will go into demo mode (play £12.50) then if i press it again (or a second test button) it should enter the options i want to have.
I will try this out today.
