Hi there,
I'm brand new to this site and wondered if anyone can help me with my new machine. I have just bought 'Homers Meltdown' from a friend and I can't work out how to fill up the hopper. On the hopper there are two buttons, a red one that says 'test' and a green one. My freind sayed something about putting a load of pound coins into the hopper and pressing the green button, but nothing seems to happen when I do that. He said that is to set the hopper limit?? The test button doesn't do anything either.
If I want to get my pound coins out again do I need to go though the hassle of taking out the hopper, unscrewing the top and tipping them out or is there a way to make the machine spit them out instead? I have all the keys etc.
Many thanks in advance,

lo turnip.
Welcome to the forums.
You should be able to dump the hopper through just by opening the top cupboard inserting the refill key and with my machine used to hold cancel and press and hold start button to dump the whole hopper. If its an AWP it will hold £125 equivalent in pound coins, anything other than pound coins will drop through to the cash box.
For inserting pound coins on the fly, open the top cupboard, WITHOUT the refill key in and just put one by one the pound coins in, it should clock up on the meter and then reset itself. Thus saving you playing the pound coins off.
It may be different I dont know, mine was a club machine to say the least AND it was BWB to say the mostAll my other machines I didn't get chance to mess about with them internally or any other way, as I just played them with pure brute force to see how they played, tried methods etc. Then got rid.
PartyTime would be a good guy to post or PM, he has alot of machines available, you should've got a manual with it too... who did you get the machine off? They should've shown you the ins-outs of the machine too!
Best I Could Do
Regards
Danny
