Default Devil Of A Deal (Vivid)

This has just replaced an extremely profitable Wombat in one of my local pubs (knew the Wombat wouldn't last forever, but even so, very sad to see it go.....).

Anyway, DOAD certainly looks like a Card Shark/QOTD clone, but does it work the same way, pot manipulation and multiple jackpots and so on?

After all, if it manages its pots like a rechipped Pie Factory I wouldn't want to touch it with somebody else's shitty bargepole

    Cheers chaps.

There was an empty which allowed unlimited hi/lo cash gambles to JP but I think DOAD was released after the rechip or it was unlikely to find one unchipped, however as you live in a place that need 5 visas, 16 butt frisks and a 3 week trip through Katmandu to get to you may just be in luck.

It was released after the chip, a casual player m/c I would call this as you have to be able to get alot of cheap boards for your money to make profit.

    Default Doad

This machine is good for quick wins only, I have never tried to force it, but getting a few £5 boards is a good way to go.

Thanks guys, would have been costly to find out the hard way Quick steals it is then, which you can sometimes get on a badly-played Vivid.

Had a Carwash offer £15 off a blue shot a couple of weeks ago for just £3 in, needless to say I collected the £15 The machine was full and obviously very happy, but I figured £12 profit was probably more than I'd get if I forced out the £25, hoping for the repeat.

I fucking hate Vivids, without a method there really is fuck all reason to play them.

The only good thing I can say about vivids these days (yes I know one good thing - suprised!?!?) is the newer ones like Hi/Lo Karate and that new clone of it - they have random 50's where the vivid light flashes.

Yeah but I hit one that took 80 over the back and didn't drop the JP or top streak, very close a couple of times, but it didn't go, then I ran out of cash (wasn't expecting a full Vivid to take that much).

Wiped out the profits from the previous few sessions.

    Default Vivid imagination

Vivids (when relieved of a few coins) play like their ancient unchipped brothers after you got the 50+ pot, have seen 90 over the back for about 40 off the top (atlantis), and I am sure the emptier wasnt in effect either. Dire gameplay if you ask me, even the unchipped pies of old yeilded good profit but were BORING to play. I even remember once after a good day (250+ up) I found an unchipped pie and COULDNT BE BOTHERED!!!!!. Took a quick 5 and left after thinking 'not another half hour on this swine'! Wish I still had it now, however lol.

    lol, bad loss dude!

Looney Juice was good for me, cant seem to find it on Vivid's site even thought it was Vivid that published it. Even when backing, would take about £30 down the back for a Looney Streak, poss 25-50, even after that another 15 back in for another streak, then after the second streak loads of afters, ie £5 in for £15 out.

Even when not full, Looney Juice just seems such a heaven to play, its gone now though :/

Yeah know what you mean, there was a time I had my (admittedly small) home town pretty much all to myself, machines that could be forced/manipulated were in damn near every pub, add in the last of the "real player" JPM/ACE machines and I had a nice fucking round.

Same as you, sometimes I just thought, "Fuck it, can't be arsed, I'll stay in with a few beers......"

I'd give me left bollock to have that luxury of choice again
