Anyone know any of these codes where u press the hold buttons in a certain order quickly and the machine seems to freeze up. It's not a barcode or anything, you can do it anytime and without any credits in the machine.
It's a bit of a pointless thread and I doubt whether it affects the machine in anyway but it seems a bit silly for it to b there for no reason. The ones that spring to mind are homer's meltdown and hi spirits by global, they're the two I know the code for, and the code is the same for both.
Just thought I'd see about this as there was some discussion on another forum about them.

There was the old reset programme code, where it acted like a hard-reboot on the machine.
1-2-3-2-3-2-3-1-3 reset the machine, nothing special was just there for a quick reboot without plugging.
Most of the other codes are only accessible with the refill key in or cash door open, dependant on machine.
There's nothing special with the codes really.
And if your mate ever says 'press 1-2-3-2-1-3-3-3-2-3-2-1' for jackpot, they're lieing![]()

That's the code I was refering to DannyC, I thought it was just a simple reset but wasn't sure.
Why has this code been put in the programme tho? Seems a bit strange for it just to be there so it can b rebooted without switching off. Another one I can think of is on a very old version of monopoly, £6 token JP. It used to do it on that as well. Classic machine!

The code was primarily put in for engineers for a hard-reboot, in which the machine is shut down and rebooted in a 'safer' way on the software side.
This code was not implimented on mpu5 mcs, only works on mpu4 and earlier.
Agreed on monoploly easy JP![]()

also holding all the buttons on jurassic pork [machine would freeze up for a few secs and spin in a jacker] was always a good jp steal wasn't it
reset codes etc are old news and booring...
lets not forget supercharged and tbird[again - the machine would freeze up for a loong few secs and spin in a jacker] , those 'unexpected or unhandled' button combos were great earners.
These kind of codes just used to enable the dataport to an engineers handheld to quickly get the stats without having to open the machine up.
