Hi guys,
One of the local arcades in my town,I believe, is rigging their machines thus making it impossible to ever win there.
Such occurances include invincable modes that do not pay out jps, bonus features removed and number of features and possible wins capped.
Does anyone know if there is any organisation or authority that can inspect this arcade and verify their payouts are correct or if, in fact, the players are being robbed.
many thanks
PS I live in Swindon Wilts
Hi jayne.
There's plenty of organisations that would inspect for you, only problem is, some arcade owners have alot of contacts, thus them knowing inspection dates etc.
First of all you need to look for yourself. Some machines if you look through the reel you can see the percentage key and what its set at.
I wouldn't dive too much in, and this isn't down to bad losing @ machines in this particular arcade is it? Machines can make alot of profit for the arcade owners even when set at a Legal percentage, I wouldn't see him risking his percentages being down for the sake of a couple hundred quid.

I havel made the mistake of collecting the `top' feature and gotten less than the jp value ... [e.g on that game where u collect sub-zero and hold all buttons for a cheeky jackpot - name evades me something pork was it?- the top feature on that gave me #12 quid when collected]
maybe this is what happened ?
Jurassic Pork..that's the one.

On a BFM machine which was a hidden IM my mate has had hidden IM I told him to take Winning Streak instead of JP which was top feature on a £100 club machine, baring in mind it was a hidden IM could well tell, extra life, 38 nudges blah blah. Anyway taking winning streak feature with still an extra life only give £76 with NO afters.
This has been known for a number of machines. Not many but it has been known. In new machines this could also be a bug in the programming of the IM mode in which fact two statements clash with each other cancelling out the other.Such occurances include invincable modes that do not pay out jps
I dont know what this is about, but maybe the machine is multi/dual stake? Maybe it can play in 2-3 different modes?bonus features removed
This is most likely a 'block' on the machine.number of features and possible wins capped
Nothing stated above sounds devious in my opinion. Just avoid the arcade...
have you got the names of the machines? That would help! But I wouldn't delve into thinking the arcade owner/engineer is tampering with the machines without thinking first.
Fruitties are there to take people's money, we just know how to play them in certain ways which gives us the advantage, which sometimes can even be less profitable in the long run.
