    Default Cash blocks

I was forcing a machine tonight and it was clearly blocking at £15- everytime the cash value got this high, it would kill me off on a mystery. I got down to notes and it would not take my note properly and the alarm went off- luckily I know the bar man and he simply turned it off and then back on-

Now, here's the interesting bit, next board went same as it had been but went to jp, which it collected automatically and then played on and after £2 it gave the top feature, which was cash pots, that went for another £25- next board gave gave me an instant £8 nudge win so I collected and was £28 up.

But what I'm interested to know, is whether turning the machine off actually somehow reset the block button so I could get the jp- it had been blocking at £15 about 4 times then as soon as it had gone off, the block no longer seemed to be there- perhaps turning the machine off and then back on reset the function but kept the machine happy as it cearly was at the time, without the block that has clealry been put in by the encoders...

So, coincidence or a good find?

    Cheers

it was probably just ready to go. especially if you had hit the block a few times already, then you got a streak. it is bound to be as happy as it had been previously as the % had not changed - you didn't collect anything.

i cannot see how plugging it would help get over a block. hopefully i will now be proved wrong.

you should maybe have not instantly collected the £8 nudge win - could well have been willing to go again.

I thought it was too good to be true, but it is worth a go next time I play it I suppose, just to make sure... I mean, turning it off may have reset the block or perhaps it was than more than likely coincidence, but worth a try nonetheless!

do it if you know the barman. the worst that happens is it won't work! if it does then great!

Was it a QPS machine? I'll willing to bet it was.

Yeah i wouldnt try it if you don't know the barstaff or you could find your arse on the doorstep
Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands

I'm sure LL advised their customers to site machines in clear view of bar staff to try and stop this, and know the smaller distributers are following their example.
