On the subject of the private forums, a question here for the members of it, would you consider releasing for general view, an old redundant thread?..would be an intresting read.

I'm sure none of the guys will reject to this. You might even find one or two if you look carefully enough. It has since emerged that the 2nd quote isn't completley correct as another version was later released.

It might suprise some of you but very little actual info is passed on the VIP forum. Its more of a case of being able to elabrate on what you have say on this forum, for instence on this forum if i wanted to discuss something on a machine with someone id say "Anyone notice anything interesting on a 'insert crytic clue to machine name here'" But if i posted on the private forum id say "Anyone noticve anything involving 'feature name' on 'machine name'".

Thats the only difference for me, being able to say a little extra in there without some prick shouting on arcadia that they know an emptier on that machine and that alerts everyone. Least most in the Vip section will have either half an idea what im on about and be able to discuss it further by PM or be able to make discreet enquiries and get back to me. Thats the way the VIP forum has seemed to have evolved.

Though the PAR trick only worked on dead machines anyway?

You'll be damn lucky to find one that works these days anyway.

I wouldn't imagine anyone would become rich from being in the VIP forum just easier to pass info without everyone reading it. If it was just on post count id be well in there by now

Personnally if i have any info which i need opinions on i pm someone who knows what there on about.

Don't be sure about that one Matt.

The original chip worked as described in the above post, dead or not dead. The later chip only worked on dead machines on any of the reels.

I have had 2 in seperate locations in the past 2 months + 1 x AFU that it worked on also about 3 months ago.

Ok then, i stand corrected!

Probably being a bit presumptious....Only ever had it work on one anyway. Seeing as they appear to be a dieing breed these days, i won't worry too much. In fact i don't even know the location of any VIU & clones in the whole of York now. It's that bad!
