Default Sting King Rich HI/LO Jacpot question

    Hi,

got a question on Sting King Rich. When you get Big Money (top feature) it basically gives a shot (£5 / £10 / £25) and then you hi/lo to go again.

Now, I usually always go the 'right' way on the hi/lo. However, Big Money always gives at least £25 (I think). But this £25 is sometimes made up of, say, £10, £10, £5. If I were to go the wrong way to end up with a 2 / King / Ace so as to deliberately have a no lose gamble after getting my £25, would it work?

Basically you normally get the £25 and it kills you. But if my thinking is true (that £25 is guaranteed) then this could be a way to manipulate an extra shot.

    Thoughts? Comments?

    B.

Not sure if you can do an 'Addams Family' sort of thing on this and manipulate it through numbers rather than selecting values. My guess is probably no, it will only give what it wants to. I've had £65 on a SKR before, and that was all with £5 shots! Might be worth a pop if you've got some backup, but my instincts tell me no here.

I dont think that it would let you get on a guaranteed number after the first 25, prob q or 3 to go k or 2! Remember nothing is guaranteed on reds, I missed the 25 on a red JG once, got a fiver and that was it!

You are right - but it's when it does the £25 through bits and pieces.

E.g. it usually goes something like:

    £5 - hi/lo than 4 (I would go hi)
    £10 - hi/lo than a J (I would go lo)
£10 - whatever... it kills you.

Using my cunning (based on the assumption that £25 is guaranteed)

    £5 - hi/lo than 4 (I go lo)
    £10 - hi/lo than 3 (I go lo)
    £10 - hi/lo than 2 (I go lo because A is lo/hi and get the extra shot)

Similarly, when it starts with a J (common) this would work. And if it chooses to do the £5 it has to do £10/£10 to make £25. OR... will it do £5 X 5 for the 25... maybe so to stop the gamble.

    Still interested to find out!!

Although it is certainly worth a try, I will bet that the setups you suggest are hard coded not to come in such an order, or else it can kill you before the £25. I know some machines could in the past if you 'went against' them. If I get the top on one straight away, I.e. I Still make a profit anyway, I will try it out.

My strategy too... Not worth risking if you put £20 through but after a couple of quid worth a try. Maybe as well that even if it kills you before the £25 (i.e. decides to kill you for cheekyness) it may well come back again because the machine must be reasonably happy... then again, these are reds. Green feature anyone?! LOL

Sorry but I have tried it on this particular machine and on early type ones and it doesn't work.

If you gamble the right way it will be £25 but it is not guaranteed

I couldn't say for certain as I don't play Red machines too much, but if it only wants to give £25 then that is all you will get I reckon. If you gamble against the machine to get a guaranteed win over £25 when it only wants to give £25, then I have a hunch it would kill you off there and then.

Although, as everyone is saying, give it a go, you never know

Jp Wizard's example though is probably correct for all the machines though...

no way can i see you manipulate this way it will go dead "go into stupid mode" played this quite alot and the only joy i can see is to go for the straight force after the first jp,, definatly a one to dismiss,, only an opinion.
