I was playing a BFU just recently and was amazed to see myself killed whilst it was in an IM.
I know people will say 'you cant die in an IM, or it isnt an IM' but it was definately and IM and was killed on the continue yes/no part of the questions mark.
Has anyone here ever experiences anything like this on BFU or any other machine.
Had you been drinking and thought it was IM when it wasnt? Seems highly unlikely it would kill you if it was IM.
What did it play like after?
Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands
i got killed on an im on homers meltdown once. long time ago now. next board was yellow, but repeated a couple of times, so i wasn't too fussed.
i have never seen im on bfu. are you sure it wasn't just showing superfeature on whatever you were on.
you are living proof that god has a sense of humour.

well they certainly ironed every bit of playability out, and put plenty of blocks in! weren't there about 7 chips for homers?

Old machines which had a lose square on you could purposely land on them to kill yourself used to buzz the machine. I watched my mate skill stop a lose by accident he wasn't trying to buzz or anything and it was on a slow down. I asked him why did you do that and he was aiming for the 3 features (Classic). Luckily he go IM straight after though.
Some newer machines appear to kill you but then act like an extra life and and let you carry on. Usually flsahing up and down the board and saying invincible on the display
There has been loads of debate about the IM on BFU which i cant be arsed to go into but does seem a little strange. If it was going to kill you I would have thought it to be when gambling hi or low not by landing on the ?
I heard that BFU flashes the logo when it lands on a feature to tell you the feature is super?
I watched a player ram this once, and he just did pure force... even had £23 in the cash pot, yet carried on, he just went for JP and got it from about £5 backing.

I did get a good DM on the very next board so that eased the pain a bit. The funny thing is i said to my 'get in there i have the IM, watch this ive got JP' i felt like a bit of a twat to say the least when it killed me.
I complained to the tech in nobles only to be told nothing is a guarantee!
If the barcrest logo flashes when you land on a feature that indicates the feature is super.
If the barcrest logo flashes on feature entry, this indicates the IM. Ive also been told that the BFU logo also flashes when you get the IM, but i have only ever noticed the barcrest logo flashing.
Not again. We've had this on fruitchat!!
