Default Is it just me and my area or....

All the good machines in local pubs/bars are getting replaced with really crappy machines

    For example:

In the pub I work, we used to have a Top Gear, SRM, Abracadabra, Crazy Cobra and Jackpot Genie

Now we have Jackpot Genie, Mega Zone, Reel Good Times, Ant n Dec and Around The World

From one extreme to the other. It's happening everywhere aswell. I used to play 9 or 10 SRM/AFU's but now there is only 1/2 left to play. These get hit even more now that people cnt find them anywhere. Its really frustrating....

Whilst on the subject of frustrating.....Ant n Dec's new machine.....could I get any more frustrated by this machine??? Was playing one....£8 for a board....playing dead. Took £3 cash and left it. Next guy comes up, £1 in "Go all the way"...he doesn't know what it means...so he takes "The Big Gamble" after a few presses...lo and behold>> £25 JP....*I'm annoyed*....it repeats...I almost cry.

Gaming isn't what it used to be...

couldn't agree more, a similar thing happended to me yesterday, a local haunt which not long ago contained a VIU and JPM Fantaztec had to my horror been replaced by a worthless old empire (cock a doodle do or something) and a hideous new bellfruit offering, "trickshot", i (stupidly) tried my luck on the latter and £13 later still hadn't a board to show for it, i took a miserly £2.40 and proceeded to leave, i went to the gents and on my way and heard the familiar sound of £1 coins crashing into the sweaty palms of some clueless munter, fortunately for him, the machine had rolled in an IM and the barmaid had apparently shouted "Ant you looky c**t its invinbcible". By the sounds of it, the bastard just won £50

I know it happens to all of us, but its still awful when it does.

    Yes mate, I agree.
I assume they move all the decent machines to the worst pubs/places that you don't want to set foot in.

Crazy Trails, Fantaztec, Unchipped Ice Burger, Cash Attack, SRM, Unchipped VIU (of two ), Unchipped D&Pecks, Golden Dragon, Cash on The Lash x 2, Bedazzled x 2, Wombat, SOI, Hot Stuff, Hell Raiser - these were all around not long ago and have dissapeared without trace.

They have been replaced with the likes of Italian Job 2 (not too bad), Jackpot Junction, LOTR 1 & 2 x 10, Cash Raker, Monopoly, Globals - Bat Outta Hell, Chipped Vivids, Hurricane, Cock a Doodle Dough and so on...

Pubs around here have got alot quieter (£2.50 a pint, no smoking rules etc). Tend to play just once a week now but going to look everywhere this weekend.

Cash on The Lash & Bedazzled were permanently full for the f hot/skill spinna 'rip'.

firkin hot/skill spinna is not just a rip. the machine is practically jp ready by even offering this. you should get a further jp by playing it correctly following skill spins, and then afters.

I usually go off how much it is offering on the cash side.
£5+ and id consider playing it out for f hot/skill spinna.

Was there an original program where you'd get a red feature soon after for another JP or the other way around?
Always just had a JP and minimal afterplay...

I know that Horny Devil and Seven....... are easy enough JP's.

Had the IM board once for a repeat on the cash side.
Anyone had all the tridents or champagne bottles? How much?

Aiming at the more "casual" player is the best way to push up the profits, coding is alot tighter (no need for soft mode) with lots of feature entries etc. Its been heading this way for some time now...............can't see it changing either

yes, but feature entry on bellfruits now is no more regular than on srm/afu etc.

a casual player to me at least is a change from the round type guy. having £8 in change to see a board froma round means it is a vey cheap pub (where is it??!!!)

at least on srm etc you do not have to put in £50 to get a jp, even if you don't know what you are doing, nearest win, superhold, jp on shots or streaks is pretty obvious, and will encourage the casual bloke to play again.

and before anyone says, i know bellfruits have the random streak (well credit based) and this could kick in, but it is frankly unlikely. on these machines the best you are likely to see back is £3 from a board unless it is streaking. this will put the casual off even more.

Yeah, frequent feature entries (even on a BFM) keeps the casuals playing even if it doesn't offer a decent amount

Look at you bunch of wank3rs! Lol,

Talking about the casual players, so what if there casual? They go to pubs for fun, entertainment, socialising. You lot know little more than they do, otherwise why is it the same bunch of prats on here giving it the big one??? If your so good and loaded why are'nt you out now instead of bitching like girls on here?

Pub crawlers, lol, do you know how sad you look? Everyone there having a good time and there you, alone, smelly, sh1tty clothes on, frantically pumping coin after coin, note after note.

    Get a LIFE!
