Horn of Plenty by Barcrest

Are these types of games by barcrest worth forcing?

For those who haven't played this machine, it is a high lo only game once on the board and higher offers cash shots whilst lower offers feature shots, and after three gambles you are awarded a bonus. If you get 3 odds in a row for example, the bonus will slow down so you can pick a symbol to help you get on of the 3 symbols needed to open the super board, which has a mega streak feature...

Are barcrest any good for forcing and is this machine in particular any good for it?

How can you play fruit machines, and yet ask this question?

I aint too keen on "Horn of plenty" used to have it in my local and would cost so much to get to the top streak, one peice of advise is to play for jackpot really instead of the streak, especially where ive never got more then 35 on the streak (although that could be because it wasnt played alot). If your offered Hi-Low on the feature board then id push, otherwise id leave alone, had a tendacy to really suck in!

Cheers mate, I'm still new to the concept of forcing, so I play a lot but am not too sure about which machines are good forcing and so on.

sorry,i didnt mean for it to sound like that-i just read it again. What i meant was.. barcrests have to be the easiest m/c's to push mate - most are very progressive especially the new bully for you effort, with horn of plenty it can suck you in so much, but a good template is the Hi-Low feature, normally comes around with about 10 quid in, so then you have a cause to push

Haven't played it for a while but I do remember getting £50 of Crazy Reels

yeah if you can get crazy reels its all good, but generally either JP or crazy reels, whichever comes first and before a stupid number - if u get me....
another words dont bother with the mega streak

I quite like the MS, gives a good guide to it's streak potential.

They are forceable yes. Most ive had to put in before it rolled is £70 (It was offering £5 repeat on first boards too). This was to refuse lots of JPs, before it rolled out two massive mega streaks (totalling about £85) and some decent afters (couple of highs n lows, £4 wins etc) for a good £110 or so out. So yes, they do streak. If you haven't stuck a lot through it, take crazy reels first, more profitable than hoping for a good MS.

only thing to remember is dont bother unless its offering more then £5 on board! - one thing this does give is alot of boards and £2-4 wins, so stick a fiver in see how it plays, if not great, collect your money back and move on.
