What annoys you most when your trying to play on a machine?

The reason I'm posting this is that I'm fuming to be honest. Just been over to Liverpool in a couple of bars and my mates are sitting in the corner, non of them really play so I go the bar and get myself a beer and some change and start to play and these two Irish twats (no offence to Irish people in general) come over and start telling me how to play the bastard thing!

Now, they weren't even near the machine till I started playing it, I don't know what they were doing but sometimes you just wanna have some fun and play it alone- if you lose, you walk away- you don't wan't two strangers on each side telling you to take that one, or collect that or gamble on! In the end I collected on a shit feature (£1.60 win), took my money and left to sit back down, not giving them the satisfaction. Why do they bother, it's like fucking harrasment, it's my money, I'm the one playing it so why can't they just fuck off?

Although, they clearly had wanted me to lose more as they went on it straight after I had given up and couldn't take their company no more. Never stayed long enough to see if they won but I hope they lost a fortune!

You ever notice also how similar people act all friendly while you are playing then when they get their way and you leave and they are playing, they don't wanna talk anymore? Tossers I say!

i hate it i only ever get it from kids oh take this take that can i have a £1 for helping u play this some one lost £50 in it.it dose piss u off and if i come off a machine thay say oh i just won £20 out of it

utterly detest the "here m8" kiddie crew or the "thats my money you won" posse, not to fond of bar staff who pester when playing ie asking questions and just generally annoying you in the hope you will leave.

people who dont understand that i dont mind if i lose some money from time to time. i dont play with money i cant afford to lose so it aint the end of the world and i actually find it quite relaxing to play a few machines after an exam regardless if i win or lose

most of all i hate people who get angry and feel the machine has a personal vendetta goin against them etc with machines, the machine is designed to take yer money so dont be to shocked when it rolls in a 12 when you choose to go lower on an 11

A chinese tw*t hanging over your shoulder waiting to vulture! Notorious for it. Why can't they just chance a machine, its not as if they dont have the money and most of them are clued up anyway.

Something ive started doing is totally killing the machine. Yeah i know you lose but do everything in your power to fuck it up for them. If its showing the first signs of a streak and they are on your sholder then do everything to kill it for a while...then a day or two later come back and do it in peace...it has worked well for me recently.

We get quite a lot of the "someone dropped that for a ton" lot, you just have to play your own game and leave it. Don't have any problem with kids as i only really play in bars/clubs so they can't get in

pubs with machines in either not having change or claiming not to. not so bad with note acceptors but if you go out socially (ie no float) and see a flying bandit but can't take advantage that annoys me.

LOL, I know exactly what you mean!

jglenny, I know where you are coming from too. Just as you go to play someone comes up and kindly informs you they just took £50 out of it! More like they just lost £50 and don't want anyone else to win it!

The worst thing is 'Manx' coins when I am in the Isle of Man, they are very shiny in comparison to English coins. They just won't go in. On Bedazzled the other week, I had £40 Manx Coins in the payout tray (from a float) that wouldn't go in, it only required about £10 to get Skill Spinna.

Note acceptors!! mainly the ones that are
situated below the hold buttons, it's akward as fuc* to get the notes in!!, and then most of the time the fuc*er does'nt accept it!!, nothing worse than spending 5mins trying to feed notes in, when ur'e in the middle of what could be, a quite severe pasting.
