Have you ever paid someone to get off a machine??
I have looked at some people playing machines and watched them about to take a £10 win. Then quickly cut in before they do and offer them £10 plus another 2-5 to get off and not take the win.
I hate it when the machine seems buzzed and people waste it. I also hate it when people dont know it's IM.
I do like not telling them though
not done it myself but i think we have all been inpositions where someones been on a machine and your sat there in the pub half watching thinking "no don't take that £10, you will not only fuck it up for yourself but anyone else forcing after, push it a bit further and the jackpots yours. Or you die and someone else will get it".
Best to keep shut, sometimes it works and sometimes it dosent.
Have heard a tale off someone i know on a £250 club PCB and someone who had the IM and was considering taking the £50 (did not know it was an IM) Lad i know offered to buy it off him ("ill give you £50 if i can continue") but the guy did not take the offer and took the £50. Was not there so cannot say if it was true or not. Best to keep shut either way.
Ive offered people i know the money to go on it if i think it's a good idea. Wouldn't walk up to a stranger and offer them it though, if you did and took a lot more you could get accused of stealing there cash (yeah it's not a nice place)
Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands
Sounded a bit heartless of me
If it's an old boy I always mention it to them.
I offered my mate money to carry on playing big cheese once but he didn't take it. I asked if it was ok for me to play and won £100. I told him it was going to pay ?
I actually saw some guy in a pub playing my QOTD, and at 10.30 wasnt too happy, said let me play this and I'll give you half the profit, 11o'clock comes - ring ring - last orders and 75 out - gave him his share - 4 quid (yep not that much profit - he took alot of value out). Then the barmaid who happened to be the UGLY daughter of the owner turned it off and barred me. The only advantage is I met a few random regulars who said fair play for battering the m/c, and when I see them in other pubs they let me know when the management arent about, and someone else is covering. Could be gone now, but dont really care anyway!

What do you mean, when the machine reaches a certain stage on the board when it goes past a losing point and all further gambles are guaranteed winners.Originally Posted by party time
