I quite like this machine cos you can collect wins when you get a mystery.
Anyway, what's the most you've had out of this one? I took £56 one time...![]()
Ive took £8.................. After £10 went in
You will find people dislike machines where you can take on a ? and not a lot of people actually like bellfruit machines.
Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands
Why's that? Do they payout less or something?Originally Posted by jglenny
If a machine doesn't have a collect on a ? people tend to lose more and fill the machine up. If you can collect then most people will put £3-5 in and take £2-4 which isn't good for the machine.
Im sure someone will come and explain it a lot better than i just have![]()

No, that makes sense. But wouldn't the machines that don't collect on ? be played less by the people who are happy to win a couple of quid then leave. I suppose being able to collect on ? appeals more to the casual gamer then...Originally Posted by jglenny
Maybe but i think a lot of people play don't think about it and just play it whatever.Originally Posted by jjh

Yeah, I suppose so.Originally Posted by jglenny
I have to admit that I sometimes like this feature, only because if I get a good board right off (£10+) on a bell fruit especially, it lets me get away with a small profit, rather than pushing all the way for a loss (as most people will tell you about bell fruit and their major blocking software!)
I think it is correct to say that the more casual gamer will play becasue they can collect a small profit or even cut losses if they can collect maybe £3 on a ?. Am I right in saying that, if caught most of the time, many bellfruits have a £3 block anyway?? Although Ant n Dec has a big gamble button. I had only put in a £1 for a board so thought what the hell. Went for the big gamble n it gave £15. So this machine is a little different in the respect that it can give a different win to that already achieved on the board.
I've seen the big gamble go for £25 Jp before, made me feel sick!
% leveller, makes the force impossible (though you wouldn't want to force a BFM anyway!) and means the casual player wins more.
Collect on a ? mark is designed for people who don't want any risks. If they put £5 in for a board, they can at least get £3 or so back.
Ant n Dec doesn't let you collect on a ? mark, but the big gamble button ruins it for the harder players. Maybe good for beer money, i'd advise not to play it really though.
