Default First post, question about cheats

    Hi everyone, good site here

I've been playing fruit machines for a while, both £25 jackpot ones and £250...

Can I ask, is there anyone who can genuinely say that there are real cheats, in the true sense of the word, that can empty a modern fruit machine that you find in a typical local boozer?

The way I see it, is that the answer is no. The trick to winning is all about timing and knowing when not to put money in- and more importantly, when to walk away. Oh, how many times have I collected £20+ only to put it all back in for the sake of it...

On the subject of forcing, how much would you need to put in to get the jackpot on a £25 machine? Considering the hopper could be upto £250, trying to force a £25 machine sounds like dangerous territory, considering the small amount you stand to win once it decides to payout...

Anyway, it will be nice to hear your thoughts,

    jjh

that is only because you are looking through munter* [acronym*- mug punter] glasses.

erm read the frikkin threads and you will see how to exploit new machines. check manufacturer websites to confirm the machine is newish if you must....

usually if somone is making some exaggerated or lying claims about the subject matter (fruitmachines) they will be flamed (ripped on, piss taken...) so just don't believe EVERYTHING you read here.. most of it is based in reality though...

I was really referring to cheats were you type in codes and stuff to guarantee jackpots. I don't think the manufacturers would be silly enough to put these machines out if people could fiddle them. Although, I may be wrong

The only machine I have had any inclining of cheating on is (I can't even remember what it is called) but everytime you got put off the feature board, if you held 'cancel' it put you straight back on, with everything back to were it was- so if you lost on £3 you started back on the £3. Needless to say, the machine was gone within 2 weeks, never to be seen again!

Although going back to my point, the way to make a decent profit off these is to know when to play them. The key is to understanding if a machine is gonna give you something.

Sadly, I think the best way to do this is simply to watch people play, and if they lose a considerable amount of money, then there is an opportunity to win what they put in. That's the reality of trying to seriously make profit off these machines consistently, I mean, if you don't watch who has been playing, you could just be wasting money cos someone just hit the jackpot!
Plus, as machines are becoming easier for the casual player to win, it is becoming increasingly difficult to make consistant and substantial profit from these machines.

In my local Rileys, the amount of 'sharks' waiting to get on a machine after someone has been on it for about 5 hours and won nothing, there's literally a queue to get on. I think only a select few ever get the chance to win on these machines- the bar workers who can play after everyone has left for example- now there's a nice side income. I remember getting up to £75 in the bank on a club machine but had to leave cos it was too late, came back in the morning to get the rest and it wasn't paying out. Surely the barstaff had
played it after I had left?

Anyway, sorry to be pessimistic, but I do think that there can't be many people who genuinely make a decent profit off these machines, week in week out, with enough money to live off without working...

Unhappy jjh havent got a clue

what planet are you living on. I played fruit machine for a living for 6 yrs just come back from Austrailia went over there for a year and just getting back into it. There are numerous scams to do with electronic stuff like skimming credit cards, hacking etc... but you still cant believe there are pro player out there. If you dont know what your on about what the hell are you doing on this website.

    Got to agree with Craig.

If you don't believe that people make money that suits me fine.

The less people that get invlolved to a decent standard means more money for the rest of us.

Your correct in thinking there isn't hundreds of people living off them and supporting a family although there is a considerable amount of good players (at least 10 in each city) that will make good money, probably over £100 a week from a few hours play in their spare time.

I agree as well.. Its not that difficult to pull in a couple of hundred per week from skillful and controled play.

This I mean is without any emptier and just some good knowledge/ability to read machines and getting to know cycles etc

One emptiers/manipulations are added into the mix profits can hit 4 figures per week without too much time involved.

Here I currently have a few machs on my rounds:
    1 x King Kebab (Unchipped)
    1 x Cash raker (Unchipped)
    2 x Dambuster (1 Unchipped)
    3 x Big Cheese (1 Unchipped)
3 x Spiker the biker (2 On risky cycles but I include cus I like this machine)
    5 x VIU/SRM/AFU
    1 x Supernova
    2 x BFU (1 unchipped)
    3 x Grand Blaster cash

and thats pretty much all I touch and it brings about £500-£700 on average but most I do bi-weekly (or even monthly so its about £350 a week usually) as they are in quiet pubs.. theres plenty of reds and other barcrests but with the above ones around the others jsut are not worth the risk.
I dont believe I have massive amounts of skill nor do I shark people for hours on end.. I just have machines on a rough cycle and go give them ago and make a decision within a few £..

I believe the key is self control - if you cannot lost £10 and walk (without the old, "oh I may as well push it and win back") you lack this control in my opinion.

Sorry if this comes across as pretentious or bragging, it was not my intention.
Why has it come to this?

Certainly doesn't come across as bragging, more realistic to be honest.

I find it quite feasible to take home £250 profit from 1 x Friday night (6-11) and 1 x Saturday daytime (10-6) play. This doesn't happen every week as it varies depending on cycles etc although I'm seriously dissapointed come saturday night if I don't have at least £125 more than I started with 24 hours earlier.
