Hi all.
I usually spend between £100-300 sussing out an invididual machine when its a relatively new one, but my problem is I play alot of The Prize is Right (BFM - Remake of Club Lockbuster sort of a watered down pub version) and Looney Juice (VIVID). I've spent around £600 on both of these and just can't get to grips with anything.
I heard a rumour that on Prize is right force for blue streak then red, but this doesn't seem to work at all... :/ Is their any free wins on this machine?
One of my mates in there I reckon is clued up but not saying anything, he said he was playing Prize is Right and got £105 out of it from £8. He said it kept giving him red arrows and he kept taking a certain win, on the next 3 pounds it kept giving him IM but he didn't know it was flashing for IM what a load of bollocks, so this guy obviously knows a free win which allows him to take it then put a pound back in the machine thinks its still time to do IM.
Just wondering before I see him again and pull him about it, does anyone else know any free wins/methods on this machine as I have quite a few losses to pull back. I hope to share some of my experience with you guys too as I have done with some people already.
Thanks in advance
Danny

Only played one prize is right before, and somehow managed to get £82 off a red streak. As others will no doubt tell you, Bellfruits are usually shite. The streak bank takes an age to build, and usually dumps a hell of a lot on one person, so i must have got lucky. Subsequent red streaks will be £25, especially if they are getting hit by players often. If you're lucky enough to have no players nearby, and people who scarper on £3 then the streak bank will build a hell of a lot better.
Every other quality streak/lockbuster/tubular bells i've forced since has only gone for £25 on the red streak, even if the machine is in IM or backing. It's a hit and miss one, and you need to know what the last streak went for ideally. If not, i'd only force if showing the signs and backing from £10-15 in.
Obviously if it only goes for £25, check the afters, might throw in a JP after a few more quids.
Matt
Cheers matt, yer I'm well clued up on lockbuster I can rip the club lockbusters for fun around my area, and I thought with this being based on a very similar layout it would operate the same, looks like another few pence I should be able to suss it.
But like I stated, I will pull my mate over about that, I didn't click on at first when he said he didn't see it flashing I laughed... then I saw a method for a different machine the other day and it was along the lines of when its in IM mode take a certain win on the cash ladder, put your next pound in and it will remain in IM mode until if forces you the JP usually can dump £85-120 on you.
Cheers mate

Yer, I started playing fruitties ages ago, but the ones I'm trying to suss are all BFM's. On my daily routes the machines are mainly BFM fs :/
So I have to settle with this, or another 3 mile walkwish there was just a few barcrests flying about. I'm learning alot about lockbuster/cops n robbers and a few others, but like you said and your right, BFM's are solid to estimate and have put me out of pocket alot of times. btw, they're thinking of replacing lockbuster soon (gutted coz only just got to grips with it) anyone got any idea's on what machine I should recommend for her to get in the pub?
She listens to me alot, so maybe a recommendation could be good to her for a good machine if you know what I mean![]()

M/c to recommend - Fireball / SRM / VIU, COTL maybe as well. My choices.
