    Default Decent Machine

Ive been looking through this forum for a few weeks now with great interest just checkin whats what. Im a student with limited cash but i love my fruities (owned a few in the past), but ill be the first to admit im not a winner. Some would call me clueless, I know what i doing but dont know any of the subtleties! When I first found this forum i thought it would be of huge use but ive learnt no1s keen to give away what they know, which is fair enough.

All I want is a good machine that i can go n play and concentrate on. Im not fussed about cheats etc as i know no1 will tell me much being a newbie. Ive searched the forum for machines that I normally come across in my locals but a forum big-hitter will always come along and say its crap or a waste of money/time. So what should I be playing?!

    Thanks in advance

The first machines I learned to play were the Hellraiser, Hot Stuff clones...vamp it up, all fired up, shark raving mad. They are fairly straightforward to read and easy to win on. On the downside, 99% of people playing machines know them, so more often than not they are a bit dead. Also apparently there's an emptier going round but I'm not sure how many people know it or what it is...
    hope this helps a little
    how...do...you...?

Well mate i'm as new as you are to this forum and it seems i'm in a pretty similiar situation to you (student, Newbie etc).

If you're just looking to play a machine NOT to lose big on, i would avoid RED's full stop, they can swallow 20 quid for a board and dick you first spin on a 2 (yes that has happened to me!).

Barcrest top gear seems simple enough, if its backing just gamble the features stack to speed streak for 25+, however it seems all the yocal yobs in my local have clicked onto this and have begun dropping it on a regular basis

Jumpin Jack Cash / Grand blaster cash and Abracadabra (all the same bandit just a reglass). are pretty simple, just force for red mega streak, afterwards play for a bonus (not a board) you will get superskillstop for 25, should make 50 - 60 ish but force can be risky if dead. Read the signs - e.g giving 4-5 on cash shots and number runner / big blaster etc is good.

Essentially the guys on this board are right. This is a baaad time to get into fruities as a pro there's so much competition and the fruities are tight and / or get chipped in days.

Good luck mate hope your luck improves.

Jumpin Jack Cash isnt that straight forward.

You need to turn down a SSS before you get the red mega streak to start with + you will only get around £30 (usually) from the red mega so there is little profit using this method anyway unless its very buzzed up to start with.

You're dead right about not being a good time to get invloved. If you are "clueless" as you put it then I would just forget about the machines altogether.

Its like working in an office and then deciding to start plumbing.

Its not very easy and there are easier ways to make money.

I have to agree there, its not as easy to win out of fruit machines
anymore like it was about 3-5 years ago, i have been playing for around
15 years and know the machines will never be as profitable as they once were
    which is a shame.

Hmmmm, sounds to me like your worried about a little friendly competition?

Is it just me or is this the only site that actually "discusses" contemorary machines, coz all the others tend to guff about old emptiers / exchange charver insults at eachother.

P.S - Theres a pro gambler in our area whose barred from all the pubs on pubwatch for like 5 years, any of you guys had any probs with the police about your work? its like (real) card counters at blackjack, its not cheating - but it might as well be.

Im not worried about any competition at all.

If he wanted to try and make some money on a patch that I was covering on a regular basis with a very small "clueless" amount of knowledge then good look to him.

Im pretty sure he'd be better of listening to my advice of not bothering dont you think?

Never had any trouble with the police myself although I know people who have, usually for illegal methods such as sparking (10 years ago) and dumping hoppers when cabinets arent closed properly.

To be honest I rarely get any chew off barstaff let alone Police. Only been barred from about 3 places in the last 3 years, 2 of which, never said a word the next time I went in.

There are places, where pubwatch is on the ball, Whitby and York for example. Very difficult to go from pub to pub in Whitby without catching bar staff on the walkie talkie and giving you a funny look.

I disagree with the SSS Method on GBC, JJC and Abra now, I find it much easier to push out for MS and then hope for a SSS after anyway. The only time this doesnt seem to work is when the random SSS has been taken.

Hi, sorry to drag an old thread up here, but what pubs are using pubwatch in whitby, it's just that i live here, and if i start to get involved with fruit machines again, which i intend to, it will be of use to know where to avoid.

Also what machines are around in whitby nowadays, it's been about a year since i've taken any notice.

    Regards.

Just a follow up to 'a1056688'

Are you saying that you can be placed on PubWatch just for being a pro? Not doing anything illeagal?

And what happens in Whitby & York exactly? Walkie Talkies????

    Cheers
