OK first post here. I was playing a £15 PCB earlier and I don't know much about them apart from there's good streak potential. When I started playing for the first £5 through it seemed to be offering regular wins/features and so I thought I'd go for the all out force. I should mention at this point this was in an arcade so I changed down another £20 at the change machine (I already had around £20 in coins at this point). It was around £5 off full so seemed like a good bet. After close to £10 in it was offering £10 from nudges and gradually progressed to the fourth and fifth zones giving skillstop regularly. It also started giving the taxi bonus which I believe is a good sign. The wins/features were so regular it was taking an age but it did, after about £25 in (at a guess) give the Reel Skill feature - which is a JP feature if I remember correctly. I decided not to take this in case I fucked it up and pressed on. It must have taken £35 and I was running out of cash so I took £10 so I wouldn't run out of cash completely. I recycled some of that back in looking for a high win, eventually it let me on to the fifth (top) zone and I was forced to take 'Top The Lot'. This is a 'random' selection of the top win values above the reels. I think that gave £6. It then offered another £10 off nudges but I messed up when collecting and ended up with £2. Managed to get back onto the top zone and collected Top The Lot again for £8. Then - and this was very obvious the way it did it - it decided to streak. It gave me full bonuses on feature entry and filled the bonus up to 'add again', so it gave me two zones automatically, then I was able to select 'add again' for the third zone. It then gave 'extra zone' for the fourth and then again for the fifth. It did this three times in exactly the same way. The first I took Super Streak which gave £15, the next I took a straight £15 from the top (no repeat) then the third time I took another £15 I think, although I could have had any feature with 9 knockouts.
So I ended up with a £60 bank from the 3x£15 + the wins I had banked before. I left the machine about £70 light. Job well done I thought but it all came about in a round about way and I nearly ended up losing £40. To summarise I buzzed the machine up, took Top The Lot twice which then triggered the streak for a further £45. But does anyone have any idea what chip revision this was or what's the propper way to go about streaking PCB? I'm surprised there's any of these left in the 'wild', particularly in an arcade where all the other machines were crappy £25ers.
Ahh, good old PCB - the way to play is to refuse £15rpt at the top several times, forcing boards out, hi/lo'ing wins to a tenner etc... then take the pot when u get the feeling its about to streak, I wish I knew when it would but it just comes to you after playing it like this alot, I would refuse it around 9-12 times dependant on %age. Then take afters...
Dave
I know of one of these in an arcade ( may even be the one described by the original poster lol ) The method Dave described, worked well when PCBs everywhere.
I strongly suspect the one i know about is still being done like this, as i have seen some low balances on it..... i cant seem to time it right to get in before whoevers doing it.... though its not an arcade i visit too often anyway.
