SRM/Clones etc - annoying....

A few of the SRM/clones etc round near me have had the "Take Streak" button manipulated ie they have had something (a spring/rod maybe) taken out of them so that they dont work??

Now, I'm thinking someone has done this so that the streak pot just lies dormant for ages, building and building etc, then it goes mental, almost like knockback method, any thoughts?

PS I managed a way out fo it...got the big streak, then landed on a ? when i got back down to blue, then it collected prize on streak stack, lucky me...

Only way this is gonna help is to maybe stop people taking the free streak... it will level standard percentage with Jackpots..

Streak is not the only Jackpot feature eh :P

As for taking it.. why not skill/taxi to a question mark and use collect prize.. assuming it dont fuck you and give Lose... but since the streak button is fucked you cant really lose much can ya?

Standard practice round here im sad to say.

Sunderland boys regularly carry this out on streak buttons and previously on the "take feature" button on DnP and Fireball.

Usually its done out of jealousy as some people dont like finding dead machines.

Quite simple procedure, pop the button out with a key and wack your finger through it. Then stick the front back on.

Obviously yes you can use collect a prize but this is difficult when all 3 stacks are activated and there is no work around on DnP.

so why not prop it back off and use a pen or key to hit the button?

You can't, the button becomes useless, it gets pushed right into the machine and wires fall off etc.

Worst ive ever seen is button faces missing and you can still press them with your small finger or something...

Guess you have to check all buttons before starting off eh and report any that are broken
