To buy or not to buy: fruit machines on ebay

I have seen a few machines on ebay (.co.uk)
The question is, would anyone recommend buying them this way?
There is an old Cluedo Super Sleuth machine item number: 6161950968

which I am led to believe is getting quite rare now.
Is this true?

Cludo ss is a cool machine but you can get it on emulation!

I would buy a machine from ebay only if i collected it so could see it working and could pay cash
