woohoo just got a summer job in a arcade

lol im gonna be working in a arcade during summer until collage resumes. have any of you guys worked in a arcades before? I wonder what tricks i'll be able to pick up on, doubt they inform staff how to empty machines like but if they do know of mtrs for some machines they might ask to keep an eye on them. Any thought?

What a bad idea.

Why dont you just go and play in there instead? You will probably make 3 times as much in half the amount of time.

I cant think of anything worse than standing in an arcade all day dealing change out and breathing in smoke.

Not to mention the fact that its always women who do it, apart from the skinny security guard that thinks he is Van Dame after asking a tramp to leave.

lol thats an intresting view point you have but i dont share it. And if i thought i could win 3 times as much by playing the machines i would, dont get me wrong i know how to play machines, but i dont know any up to date mtrs i have gblastercash and bkc but their are the most recent i have, and i only got them in time to make a few quid withough good mtrs i would struggle to make a profit in an arcade

Everyone is obsessed by emptiers.

There is plenty of money to be made without using emptiers.

Do what i did - become a postie..... covers the bills, & nice early finish gives plenty of time to do some slotting to top the wages up.

The money isnt brilliant, but the official hourly rate is based on a 1.30pm finish....i am usually back home by 11.30 am.

Couldnt imagine being stuck working in a hot, smoky arcade surrounded by (mainly) the dregs of society.

Also agree with the point made about players being obsessed with mtrs ( hands up, guilty of this myself sometimes ) some of the wild goose chases trying to find things unchipped/turned on, would have been better spending the time playing the regular, unspectacular but nevertheless very profitable over the long run.

I agree the best earner, has got to be fireball/dosh, in the early days they had three in, and if you were lucky a fifty free win, in the process of doing the method.
