That is the difference then, I certainly do not have wife and kids to support from fruit machines playing and hence do not care anywhere near as much.

Because drinking is sociable, good fun / a laugh perhaps? I do lots of other things for socializing but drinking makes the gambling bearable. Day in day out on the cokes, fuck me what a life eh? The life of a 'pro' gambler is not 1 for me.
