hiya lads, right there is three fruit machines in the pub where i work, which is also my local, and i am USELESS at the fruit machines, some ones i can win a lot on but these machines just seem to get me everytime, now we have th regulars that come in and they will rip the machine for 70 quid at a time, but ti's ok cos they're regualrs, but tehntheres the one bloke that comes in now and then just to take as much money as he can from al three machines , adn leaves, without even buying a drink. now the one time he did come the the bar for a drink i was nothin but very freidnly to him, and just generally nice to him, but he was a complete and utter W***ER to me, not only that, he insutled me, to my face! couldn't believe it, he's just right T**T. neway these machines will take all my money.

i'l put in 30 quid or so, and it'll all be gone, i don't even earn that much cos i work part time, so 30 quid is my days wages, could someone please help me out with these few machines, i looked on teh website but can't seem to find anythin on them, if u could help me out on these machines it'd be very much appreciated, and i'd even let u kno wher my pub was nd u could come in and i'd buy u a drink and let u rip all the machines, i just want a way to earn some extra money cos i'm such a poor student, and to get some secret personaly revenge on that idiot that comes in...

the three machines at the mo (if the don't chagne them sometime soon) are:

QPS - back of the net (hi/lo machine, new one)
extreme gaming - super pool (it's a shit one trust me)
barcrest - bully for you (another new one i think since i never seen anywhere else)

Right, well for starters this guy coming in and ripping all 3 machines then leaving is what most proffessional players who regularly make an income from machines have done for years.

Not buying a drink is sometimes an option for players depending on the situation. However, insulting you for no reason is out of order and I suggest you pressure him to buy a drink in future.

I wouldnt try and steam in and win on these mahines if this guy is winning on them every week, chances are, he is getting the streak on the super pool each time, and as such, if you try it at the wrong time it is likely to take your money off you.

Unfortunatley I am not aware of any methods for the machines you mentioned above other than a straight force for 'pot black' (top feature) on the super pool but this normally costs around £70 for anything between £50 and £120 in return.

If you are seriously losing your wages in them on a regular basis I would suggest you simply stop playing them all together. Granted it might piss you off when this guy walks in and wins but its more than likely his 1st or 2nd living and as such he relies on events like that to support himself and possibly even a family.

Dont feel annoyed that you can't do the same as I'm sure he doesnt feel annoyed that he can't pull a pint. It will take you years of experience to learn how to win regularly. 10 years ago it might have been worth while for you to start learning although now I would suggest you just leave them alone.

could i just ask again sorry, PLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEASE help me, i'm still young, adn i've started learning about fruit machines about a year ago, it isn't his first living anyway, apparently he works for some tv company, and also he's single, don't suprisingly since what a horrible person he is, not only that but i WANT fruit machines as my 2nd living, and i'm fine with ppl that come in and rip all the machines in the place, because that's what they do best, not a problem it's more that he was so horrible to me, probably some form of ageism since i'm only 18 and only young still. i do realy want to learn about fruit machines, since i do desperatly need the money as i am a poor student and don't make that much in the first place.

and advice on fruit machines in general or even better advice on the machines in my local, would be so great, means i finally get on the right track bout learning about fruit machines since i've been tryin so hard for the last year and got no where! i don't even need that much money from them, winning a tenner in profit now and then would be brillient, i don't want to go on winning streaks and win £100 a time, i just want a bit of extra cash now n then instead of being a poor ass student¬!

even if this man kept rippin the machines in my pub, i'm not bothered about that, revenge doesnt' take priority to ACTUALLY learning more about fruit machines my self, and don't worry, i'm not gona ask any stupid questions like 'what is backing?'

also sorry just another note, he doesn't play the supoer pool one really since it's only just came into the pub and he don't go on it much, probs don't like it, since it's not a great fruity to be honest, any tips on super pool?

I would seriously get the idea of winning money from machines on a regular basis out of your head.

That is unless you are prepared to spend a great deal of time and money in gaining experience.

No one can simply tell you what to do, its not as simple as that. Knowledge comes with experience. You need to be able to read the machine to start with before even thinking about how to go about maximising profit. Its took me years of playing for hours every week to get to the stage I am at now and even now I dont know everything. Granted I can now regularly make profit every week and am privelaged enough to be able to say that in total over the years I am well in profit. Not many people can say that, mainly through lack of discipline and you are now showing tell tale signs of lack of discipline. Get another job, sell stuff on ebay...there's plenty of other ways to make money for someone in your situation.

If you're adamant in attempting to make money from machines then I can only suggest you take the time to read the forums in full and gain some tips that way.

I will warn you though, no one likes a beginner and many ppl will be reluctant to help as after all, someone else who knows what they are doing = less profit for people like this 'horrible' person that came in your pub.

i am very comitted, i like fruit machiens, i love playin them, more importantly i love winning and i love the challange of a new machine, i only join this site yesterday and already i've read nearly all of the fruit machine threads, i'm not a beginner don't get me wrong, i've been going at fruit machines for the last year hardcore tryin to learn everythin as much as possible, but i'm still not as good as i want to be, that's why i would like some advce from someone with a different perspective, differnet experiences, maybe a different approach anyway to increase my knowledge and skill, i'm tryin to learn, and there's only so much i can learn without learning from someone else.
and i know general tips for all machines are rare, but i'd love any imfomation even if it's stuff i arleady know, just to confirm it, info on super would be great as well, to add it to my knowledge "bank" that i already have of certain fruit machines. adn not from wesbsites etc, i didn't even know there were websites dedictcated to ti until yesterday! just from my own experienc adn a lot of trial and error.

dude if you put half as much effort into your studies as you claim to do with fruties then chances are you will nolonger be a poor student needin a 2nd income, sori but the only advice i can really give (sounds really condecending i know) is dont play with money you cant afford to lose, once you learn this lesson your sorted.

mate, i have put in a lot of effort, but i didn't have any help, nor did i even know that websites like this exsited where u could talk to other ppl about fruit machiens, i basically jumped in at the deep end WITHOUT any help or clue whatso ever, i've learnt all about the reels adn waht teh symbols mean adns tuff myself, thru trial and error, it's takin me ages to learn the stuff that u lot on this webstie have explained hundred of times, cos i jsut didn't have ANY help at all, and NOT one bit of knowledge of fruit machine at all, apart from that u put money in, THAT'S it, that's all i knew, so i'm quite proud of myself, i learnt all the stuff, like backing, which i just usd to know as the coin dropping into the machines, and the percentages and that, MYSELF, without even talking to anyone about it, and i desperatly need the 2nd income, and no i will not give up mat, i've put too much time and efort into it to give up now, all i wanted was a little help and everyone on this site seems to wanna have a go at me!

We're simply letting you know that it isn't very easy to make money on a regular basis from playing fruit machines, with or without a site like this to help you.

Good Luck to you but you will struggle.

To start with the first vital rule which you are ignoring is:

Forget what is in your local and go and find something which it is possible to make money on.

yeah i know it's not easy, i've learnt that the hard way. i onow the machines in my local arne't exactly great, a few people i've notcied today, sicne i just got back from work, have noticed this as well, so the machines aren't gettin ripped at alll, there all packed full since the fruit machine man hasn't been in for a while to empty them since last week, and now won't come in til next saturday, so they're all full and getting ready to drop all there, coins, it's jsut that the fruit machines in my pub would be so much more convient to win on, since i'm there alot, so could jsut do it after i finsihed work or ebfore i started work, easy peasy, i am loking at other machines around me, and just checking out to see what machines are around,a dn tryin them out to see if i can notice anything about them etc. etc., but thanks anyway, shame i can't get any info on the ones in my local, but just like u said, it's not easy, i'm just gona have to try harder! that's my motto!
