C'mon 'fess up folks - who went out and hit the machs on Boxing Day/ the day after?

Slightly sad i know, but its just too easy an opportunity to pass up, with all those pissed up Xmas punters filling the slots in the last shopping days before Crimbo.

Made £45 in 2 local pubs on Boxing Day and a very quick £100 off 6/7 crests and one GBC (cash pot 'full to brim' after only £4 in!!!) in no more than an hour the day after. Some of this easy money paid for a ludicrously alcoholic cocktail i've named the Flaming Bastard Chihuahua which you may wish to sample for yourself:

* 1 shot Vodka (decent Vodka people this is your liver we're talking about so no cheap shit made from potato peelings, i.e. Morrinov)

* 1 shot Tequilla (see above, there's a reason millions of Mexicans are penniless bums)

* 1 shot Galliano

* 1/2 teaspoon of sugar

* 1 lighter

mix liquid together in shot glass (above is enough for 2 drinks - which is all you'll need!)

ignite the liquid

place sugar filled spoon above the blue flame from the drink until all sugar dissolves into bubbling caramel

plunge spoon & sugar into lighted drink, extinguish inevitable mini fireball & drink quickly

Christmas Eve (Playing with another player) = £320 Profit. £160 each.

Christmas Day (Solo play) = £63 Profit in 45 mins.

Havent played since boxing day although did find something very intresting an AFU and clones. (Check VIP forum)

Nothing sad about making some money mate! Christmas is very much overrated these days anyway.. its all commercial bullshit.

Any time there are lots of pissed up players filling up the hoppers is a good time to hit the fruities.

As for the AFU thing its dodgey cus its not something it tends of offer that often anyways.. seems theres just lots of JP shortcuts on it is all but these are harldy worth it in my opinion as if its JP happy it can usually be forced to offer the free streak within a few more £ usually increasing profits but then it does tend to go dead after.

Tequilla is awful stuff, is galliano the stuff like Dr Pepper or is it...?

Had a quick gamble on Boxing day during a rather good 20 pub crawl around the Island, found a few gems (and another Crazy Trails, but opposite a bar). If only the BLV £10 repeater thing worked...5+ about here. Still ended up fucked so worth it.

Playing on Xmas day, hmm. Wish the pubs were open - boredom ahoy with the family, only good thing was free booze.

Trip to the pub before lunch on Christmas day is tradition for me.

It just so happens that the pub houses a VIU and AFU so I see no reason to turn down the opportunity after a busy Christmas Eve.

I appreciate others may find it a bit far fetched although there are plently of scenarios I consider sad.

Standing on a pub door trying to look scary shaking a bucket of copper in the freezing cold for 5 hours to earn £50...now that is SAD.

1Xp1 lotr 2 towers £52 up (48 in for a ton) (25 mins)

next day-
2xfireballs- £80 profit (30 mins)
spartacash £15jp 45profit (10 mins)
1 supercharged £110 profit (i am not *that*greedy) (10 mins)

not bad for 90 mins (ok maybe 2 hrs tops) slotting.

Got pissed as a fart on tuesday. Started a lads day at midday by 1pm we are playing drinking games. 5Pm find myself in town with one of the none playing friends going round doind quid a peice. I started the afternoon with £180 i went home with £30. I reckon we must have done £80-£100 each on machines. I did not get home till 11pm cause all we were doing was £30-£40 in £25 out with the odd shot between machines. Wednesday i did not get out of bed.

Oh well cannot win em all.

Going to get my losses back 11-1:30 new years day (before the pubs get busy and after new years eve).

and the 2nd of Jan after the traditional new years day packed locals.

I feel sorry for my non playing mate, i know i can make that back quite easly, suppose he will never get addicted to machines after that.

I think its more than reasonable. I personally have had £75 all off 75p on a Big Cheese and I can assure you it didnt take more than 3 minutes for it to say REPEAT 'YES' twice.
