I've been asking around everywhere on this machine, by Empire and it is a really old machine so I think it is ok for discussion.

Basically, it was installed in a pub where a mate works about a month ago, replaced a High Roller. First week, two lads came in to empty it about three times and the third time they asked for their £17 I.O.U. An operator who was drinking at the bar informed the landlord that they'd been cheating it - so they were barred.

Since, it has been refilled and no new program or anything. Heard that 2.40 is a free win on a certain feature, can anyone clarify? I thought it may be Ambler Gambler but unsure.

Poor story but point is any info would be appreciated for 50-75 extra a week.

I was asking for this a few weeks back, seems no-one knows (or wants to let on). A pity, it's only on the Isle of Man and an old m/c

After reading some of kidgloves posts I may take a gander at the lo tecs on the IOM, i reckon they'd be early chips. Maybe Joker Pokers as well...

What the state of play on IOM?

Is it run by private distributors or are the big chains over there also?

Do they keep uptodate or do you find yourself with unchipped Superchargeds and Pies similar to Ireland (NOT belfast)?

Never visited the IOM (dont worry i dont intend to in the near furture ) but always had the impression its very small with not much to do, is that just me being narrow minded?

I think 3 operators over there, all local and pretty clueless, E$cobar knows more on that, I mean 2 wombats and an unchipped Ice burger in a tiny area is hardly professional really?

They tend to ship in old chipped m/c's from across when they have had there run over there (old empires and barcrests, chipped vivids ffs).

Sometimes they come in before a rechip has been issued = gold mines (SC, Royle Family's and probably loads of others that I don't know methods for )

They do rechip but are loathe to do so, lazy bastards (thank god eh), only if case of SC. M/c's slow in rotation as well

Decent players would rape the IOM no doubt in my mind, heck even I can do ok.

And yeah it is wank there, bugger all to do but go drinking and gamble pretty much, no chain pubs there either, never seen a wetherspoons b4 Uni ! Dead rich area though, 0 unemployment and very low income tax.

Some of what is about at the moment: Alot more machines in Douglas, not been around alot of places for a while...

All 4 One, Battleaxe, Special Brew, Hot Stuff, Crazy Trails, Kharma Chameleon, Raise the Roof, Six Shooter, Connect 4's, Superstar, Monopoly, Bedazzled, Fantaztec, Stairway to Heaven, Jumping Gems, Dambuster, Trick Shots, Gridrunners, Jackpot Junction, Hellraiser, TIJ2, Full of Beans, Lockbusters, Spin on It's, Cash on the Lash.

Was three unchipped Supercharged about 4/5 months ago.

GGG/CBW's were ok for a while & then Bedazzleds and COTL's. Ice Burger moved the other day and yet to try Trick Shots, Fantaztec, waiting on Jumping Gems & after Crazy Trails info.

Yes, Isle of Man does have limitations & the whole place is outdated....

Yes there are many times I wish i could stop myself playing a dead machine when slightly under the influence of alcohol sometimes! Or visit what I called the 'golden week' where I had 13 Donkey Kongs all unchipped very close together and no one else knew the trick! Went for a 3 week holiday with the profit off that!! Also use levartemit cos no bugger else does lol.
