Just wondering what sort of percentage payouts everyone finds in pubs in their area.

Obviously it does vary from pub to pub but whats the aveage / lowest.

Playing a local round last weekend and found at least 1/3 of suburban pubs were set on 70% with probably 1/2 on 72% or lower. Most of the other half set to 78%.

After having a discussion with someone from the industry in another area i was informed that they collect from machines set no lower than 74%.

there are a few 82% but to be honest i dont believe them

Nearly all the machines i have checked in my area are 78% these are all towny busy pubs, i guess it changes on the area country pubs being set low city pubs high

One pub meant to have 82, hogshead chain, do play better as well.

Seen one pub with a wombat on 90% once in IOM, and it played like it

Depends, in the Arcade I never even check because I am so used to playing the machines and judging them on how they play that you walk with profit or a minimal loss, in the pubs it really does vary, I'd say between 72-82 on average, got one VIU on 72 and one on 78 (both unchipped), and I would go into the other machines but there isnt really much decent to even speak about, unless u count the ITbox roulette machines, which I am positive are on a % (look at the itbox's with games on, u can only win when happy enough) not sure what % but if someone loses alot then they pay, best tip on them is shark the chinese - and you'll be quids in.

Maybe he's been sharking all those chinese people at the casino, there open till silly times .


Or maybe at a nightclub watching munters fill the machine up and emptying them just b4 closing time.

Also what is the lowest % you would play a machine and would it depend on what machine it was.

yea but with a casino i hate when the chinese guys sit on the smaller betting tables and bet big. as A it makes you look cheap and B you normaly have to wait to get a seat. Then again if they feel luckly on one table i supose who am i to tell them to go play where your bets are meant to be done.

The worst thing has to be the no clocks or windows, its just like another world when your in there. I have been in at like 3-4am on a weekday and the place is packed. Then you go outside an face the real world

I just love enjoying myself too much, I'm out on the piss every night till 2am then I end up getting home watching TV, and then posting on here, when I've had a few I enjoy rambling and I seem to be able to get whatever point or comment across, which seems to me at the time to sound good.
