I've lost far too much money on these machines in my lifetime and I was wondering if any of you make a seious profit from them? If so, how hard is it to make a profit, does it take hours of research because the machines seem to change all the time?

Also, what's you're favourite machine? Any tips for it?

If anyone has any emptiers they'd like to tell, I'd love to listen.

Thanks for any help, I'd love to earn back some of my loses.

Yes it is possible to make a living from it but it takes experience, discipline and dedication.

Experience - You need to have been playing for enough time to know all the basics of fruit machine software and understand all the terms used by other players.

Discipline - Only play machines you have information on or know how to play with little risk of making a loss.

Dedication - Some professional full time players have made £1000+ per week for the past 10 years but this takes both of the above elements to the extreme.

Most players on here use fruits as a 2nd income, making all different amounts. Personally i target and regularly make anywhere btw £150 and £250 (420 last week ) from one day and two nights play. Others will make more or less depending on how much the obey the 3 rules above, what info they have and what locations they have (ie how many decent machines are in the area).

I wouldnt seriously consider playing fruit machines full time in your position.

    1. The industry is changing dramatically and times are alot harder for the 'pro' than they used to be.

2.You need alot of experience as mentioned earlier.

    3.It will drive you MAD!

If your semi addicted (no one likes to admit it) and are sick of losing money on nights out etc then the net and this board is certainly the place to further your knowledge but dont expect to be maiking the sort of money mentioned earlier within days or weeks cos it wont happen. The best way to gain experience is through playing, though sadly, if you dont know what your doing to start with its also the most expensive.

As for 'emptiers'. You wont get many ppl just dishing out emptiers and methods willy nilly to all and sundry especially not current methods. Try and build up some contacts and try to get yourself into the 'loop' so to speak but i will warn you now. Its difficult, dont trust everyone, and you dont get much for nothing.

Thanks that's a really detailed response.

BTW I'm not looking to play full time or even part time but I'd love to know a few tricks to play certain machines well.

I don't spend hours playing every day but I don't earn much money (as a barman) and it doesn't take long to loose a chunk of it.

I've been a little trigger happy recently, think I'll try to tone it down.

I don't have any knowledge of emptiers etc. but I'd return the favour in some way to anyone that parted with some profitable tips on their favourite machines.

Well I live in London so finding specific machines isn't really a problem but I've been playing a Monopoly machine recently, I think it's Barcrest and fairly new. It's not one of those old school classic monopoly ones. Sorry I'm being vague, I'm sure there are a few different ones.

I don't really tend to check the name and make, I'll play anything after a couple of pints. I say play but there mightn't be much playing involoved, more like day light robbery.

I'll check exactly what machines are in my local.
