anyone else come accross many drilled machines yet? if not and you don't know its fraud to spark the notechanger. anyway what do you do? play it or not? thats the main question. hmm, the notechanger light is off the machine must be empty. but is it? when was it ILLEGALLY emptied? today or a week ago maybe? some cheeky buggers are even screwing a bolt in to hide the hole and what they have done, presumably so they can use it later. well at least we could key one today to find it was worth playing, although par was chipped. nevermind rolled over for super superhold fairly easily. my fellow player today even said that he was in a pub and was asked to turn the music on the machine down on the machine (they know he plays) and the w*nkers had turned the music up so that no-one could hear the drill! whatever you think (and i detest this dishonesty) the guys doing it must have big hairy kahunas to drill through a fruit machine cabinet and poke a coat hanger through in the middle of the pub! says something though when fraud has become the only way for some to win, and it is this blatant and widespread. if they can't win legitimately then they should just f*ck off, not steal it dishonestly.

still not a bad day overall. we left vivids on the winline of a qotd in a pizza shop from its a hold up. annoyingly an itj3 that should have streaked didn't and a series of small up/downs from a load of pub machines. up overall thanks to emptying and iou'ing golden game again (thats twice in a week now! sweet!)

p.s. first play of reno casino today. admittedly it was new in so i guess they have pumped the % up to make it seem nice, but is it random? one unit was iou 12. i got a 50 and a couple of 25's but no major profit. is the gamble from reel wins progressive? seems to offer £5 and then kill you for the feature 1 minute, then kill you for £2 the next gamble. most odd. any particular order/reason for choosing slots/roulette/BJ? think i may leave it alone till it has done a few cycles and taken a few hundred quid and see what its like then.

    On the point of lo-tecs:

I dont normally play but noticed some with digital % displays all set at 107% and a sign saying "xxxx (something or other) payout, but which machine is HOT"

What is all this about? Does this mean the mach is paying out to 107%?

    Surely not?

I remember a geronimo is Stanley about 4 years ago. Was accidentally set to 118%. Regularly gave JP off 1 real blast. Sadly it was ammended after a week.

yes. if there is a bank of say 4 for example machines, one machine will be set to the high % (in this case 107%). all the others will be on their normail %. the arcade wants people to waste money playing to find which machine is on 107% it may not even be possible to take full advantage of the high % machine dependant on where it is in its cycle. even on a % like that it may still bog down for at least a couple of hundred quid (it will empty eventually but when? it is paying over a possibly 10k cycle!)

if by early chip you mean not auto nudging the golden x flash then yes there are! just have to look! there are so many chips out though, and yes most are very hard to make profit on unless you flukely catch it right.

I know on pie factory it was the £7 gamble, u wud go higher or lower and the dice wud stick but u wud win the gamble, this meant it was chipped.

Reno Casino's do seem pretty random ive had one in my area for a while now. From my experience it doesnt matter which feature you take it yields the same outcome. The gamble is strange as you pointed out, it can gamble to the fiver then lose on a quid next time, did see one guy take £175 out of one, it put him up and went six times so he had all six chips then once you get them it gives you super reno casino and that went 3 times! Quick tip : if you get the red sevens it gives you a choice of jackpot or the feature, always take the feature as its always at least £25.

Far more obvious and reliable indentification methods than this my friend.
