Yes but having money goes along way to obtaining things that make happiness.Originally Posted by evilsatan
I would NEVER even consider jacking everything in and playing full time. Even the best players will make no more than about 70k and personally id rather try and earn that in business than playing machines.
P.S The real pro's (im not one of them) wont be working in mac d's. The real pro's have money invested in houses etc and 100k in the bank.
P.P.S Im addicted to 1/2 a Chicken Parmesan with chips and garlic sauce and i wish i wasnt as its damaging my physiche.

Money helps fast-track you to happiness, it is the short-cut. Sorry if this thread is getting off topic now, this is just my opinion as I used to think money as "everything.
a1056688 i am not sure if they know what a parmo is, i am sure its only a middlesbrough thing as i went to newcastle for a night out and they didnt even sell parmos. shame !!!

I wouldn't say im addicted to gambling really. I only play when i go out for a drink, i think your addicted if you go out just to play machines.
Though i do think about what machines im gonna be playing that night and see if i can find some info.
i did mean to put the translation of this but in my early morning daze forgotOriginally Posted by Topthelot

I tend to side on the O.P. but unfortunately it has taken me over 20 years to realise the return ultimately is not worth all the effort.
Yes there are people making money doing the rounds but at what cost to them? What hourly rate do they "earn" against how many health problems are they racking up for later life - danger money levels needed . I only realised through my work that the reason Knobles etal get their interior ceilings done brown is to not show up the smoke damage !!! No sorry but "working" in that sort of atmosphere and having to drink "coffee" from disputable sources then realising that the smell that s foul in your nostrils is you as not all places provide A/Cis even less appealingand typing this makes me wonder how i did it for so long ??
I would however say that addiction is a reality in this "trade" - let's face it why are we all visiting and posting here ? - - - - - hope ! Hope that maybe, just maybe, someone will have a tip to share that will let us all get back the last wedge we lost to the electronic thief, remember they used to be known as "bandits" and for good reason. But we all also know that if the golden tip works then any money we get will quickly be lost again to another machine that may or may not be "playable" and we can't just go out the door with our winnings intact can we ??
Maybe the only way is to forget all about puggies and sites like this.
see you all later

a1506688,
hats off and doth respect to your will power to do this.
What i was meaning is that once you have won from your "known" machine then more than likely there is a "new" machine on the row that may or may not be a clone - the temptation then is to try and suss it out for any flaws with it's sh feature or bonus exchange etc
Of course if you are in the know and only play machines you know will return a profit you are indeed one who does remove that glass ;>
be lucky
