I have been told by Welcome Break 'customer service' (after E-mailing someone who actually took an interest in my gripes about Services machines) that they have introduced test machines at three sites (Fleet, Mimms & Charnock) to evaluate the effect of setting at 80%+ These sites mentioned are testing 3 Lo-Tech multi-player games.
I also raised with her the point about failure of operators to post out refunds, and when challenged with an experiment of my own when Charnock 'lost' my slip for a claim, gave them a prod and I got my money plus a £5 voucher. The tip is to make a note of Site & side, Machine, date/time, fault, amount of claim, name of staff (on badge). If refund fails to turn up in 3 weeks log on to www.welcomebreak.co.uk and E-Mail customer services with the details.
