Dunno why, just find it frustrating whwn i get offered three in the space of 2 quid and it doesnt give me squat lol. There was a LOTR that was unchipped, but I tought it was the first time. Guess that what does it.
err but you DO need a credit in for it to give a Repeat Chance, on most machines i've played anyway.

i guess for every intelligent player who gets told 'something' and knows it wont work without needing to try theres a few 'arcadia' types who pretend they are gods by just knowing it. "it worked the other day when i tried it mate" bless em

Some BFM's like LOTR etc dont need the credit for the repeat, try it by gettin 3 quid repeat on last credit, if its gonna repeat, it will offer the chance which is already yes without inserting more cash

I think he was implying that the arcade guys are suggesting the credit has to be in immediatley for it to repeat (ie you must have a credit in before you collect the cash repeater). I could be wrong, but thats how i interpreted it in the context of the previous posts.
