Well the latest things in my 'local' area (i mean the nearest 10 or so pubs rather than the areas i play) are:

Quick on the draw (love it)

SOme impulse which ive forgotten te name of...

Six shooter (bastard chip and last week replaced my king kabab ****ing machine)

Bling King Crazy (why do the smack heads think theres something on this?)

Several LOTR clones

Count Yer Cash (worst machine ever.....try forcing this fucker if you dare...i have hmmm....£220 in £80 out....might as well play bar x. mostly does £50 or so in for £30 out. utter waste of mony.

Several reds which the casual punters have boycotted in favour of the BFM group machines.

and several im not willing to post on a public forum.

Very few new machines though...seems as if they are sticking to the old tried and tested forumualrs.

theres no money in the industry so no impetus to design new games

expect countless clones reglass and shite variatons on a theme until techie emulator nut gets his hands on MPU5 EPROMS & decals (IF ONLY!!!) or AWPs die out and are replaced by random or video games

is this so unlikely a scenario?

Don't think there's any less money in the industry now than at previous times, companies may have been hit by the bookies switch to fobt's, but saying that, machines didn't exist in bookies until 8 years ago.

Machines have been around for a long time and I am almost certain they will be around for a lot longer. Players always seem to be predicting when the end is nigh for fruities, but in my oponion the market is rock solid.
