I've been 'un'barred from my local arcade. Funny really...I was just passing it from a trip to get my hair cut and the woman who worked there was in the front door enjoying the sun. She called me over for a chat as we did used to get on very well and I've no bones to pick with her. She proceeded to tell me how much the place wasn't taking and the manager had asked if I'd been around.
Cut a long story short I casually dropped it in that I wasn't going to beg but if he wanted to let me back in then I wouldn't say no.
2hrs later and a phone call gets me back in the place.
Just shows you...he takes notice of 4 or so people moaning about how I am personally responsible for the fact that they can never win, so he bars me...and they carry on coming in once or twice a week spending their £20 here, £20 there and he wonders why he isn't seeing as much in the bottom of the machines. Do they come in and spend 5 times as much because I'm not there?? I don't think so....do they actually win 5 times as much because I'm not there?? I don't think so. Basically he's realised that whilst I will win a lot out of the machines eventually it's because I play them until they've done their payout/streak whatever.....if that means putting £200 through for £125 out on a bad day then so be it.
Anyway..looks like I'm back in the show boys from tiptoeing near the edge for a while. Weird thing was that I've learnt to play a good few more Hi Tecs in the last month from a big increase in pub playing. But I'm still waiting for my first Dambuster Streak!
