There are several versions of the machine with the simpsons theme. The original one, called the simpsons, another called Homers Meltdown and the final once Called Homers duff beer guide, please clarify which one you have and I will try to help.

On certain chips you could knock back a few red boards then get the super jp off normal yellow board and it would usually dump around £75. There are some nasty chips tho so beware, any way to tell which chip its on?

Not being funny Ped...but you've probably just confused the hell out of the guy...he's looking for basic tips not knockbacks and chip issues...If I were you I'd clarify whether you mean the first Simpsons or Homers meltdown as they both have a square board. Does yours have Bart on a skateboard in each corner or power stations? For either I suggest you try the barcode...hold any of the following...triple bar reel 1 double bar reel 2 and single bar reel 3. Once you all 3 bars then select the single bar and once you have a win off this gamble it and enter the feature. You can get £10 off nudges this way quite a lot. If you want to get Jackpots then I suggest you talk to Ped a bit more!

lol i see what you mean kid gloves, ive just read it back and it doesnt make much sense, i was assuming he meant homers meltdown, as i havent seen the skateboard one in years.

Stevey just ignore what i said.

cheers for the advice... is yellow boards and red boards the colour the screen shows up when you get on the board?...
if you get on the board and its a red screen what does that mean, and also what does the yellow board mean...

Stevey, from what i can gather your knowledge of fruit machines seems very limited at present.

First of all, to answer your question.

A red board is when the simpsons logo will turn red, this means you are invincible and cannot lose, ie. your guaranteed the Jackpot, this will only happen when the machine has enough money in it to do so and wishes to level its percentage (eg. it has only paid out 65% of money in, so has to give a JP to get % up to stated 72.

A yellow board is the normal colour of the board and is what you will normally see in normal game play.

If you aim is to learn a trick or two and hopefully progress into making a small regular profit from machines, possibly the best advice anyone can give to you is to spend a little time reading some of this forum.

Perhaps take some time to read a good deal of the gambing-guide threads and familiarise yourself with some machines that you recoginse and can say, eg. i've seen a fireball in xxx, how do i play that????.

In my opinion, everyone learns through practice and experience to start with but in order to minimise your losses you can improve your potential learning through research. All the info is out there, trust me.

Take time to read the link below, posted by an experienced player and moderator.

    Hope this helps.
