Can't believe it! Actually got £20 out of a spot the difference game last night. Play them quite a bit so know a lot of the pictures and where the mistakes are even though there are lots of variations.
Was in a country pub..not been there before and the 1st credit and it was gagging to give £3 on level 3 with 5 helps. Never seen one this 'happy' before so I refused some boards to see what would happen...it stayed happy and got happier ..even on 30-35% payout it must have took a mint to get it this buzzing. The board I won £20 on was weird...the £20 was still on the top level and normally you can't get past level 7 because the timer gives you like zero seconds to get the differences but this board the timer was slow all the way through and the pictures were all common ones with no bastards thrown in.
Got more satisfaction getting that £20 than any £25 out of a fruity.
Do you know ever since being barred from the local arcade I've been playing less and less..this from a guy who's been playing daily for the last 23 years...didn't believe I'd find it so easy to cut down but it's working at the moment. Sure I will still have a session if I fancy it but I'm quite happy with my more casual play for the time being. It might take me out the loop for a bit but that doesn't bother me much either. I'm not posting one of those "look at me I've given up" rantings..more like a "watch this space"
Shit...it doesn't even bother me that much not having a float of pound coins in the house/pocket anymore.
Still..half term next week and going to the coast with the missus...I'm sure the day will be taken up with lots of reel spinning...kinda reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Barny stops drinking and gets all wise with a decent hairstyle then falls off the wagon big style at the end of the episode..that could be me after a session at the coasts. I just hope there are enough sharks around to put me off for good.
Confucius say "man who know wombat know more than stupid looking monkey"
Confucius also say "man who know Kebab has 60 inch waist"
Confucius finally add "man may deal, but man may not 'know' deal"
Have a good trip kidgloves![]()
Off to the coast myself ( Barmouth) on Friday for a bit of camping with the missus and toddler.
The sensible devil is telling me to have a complete break from fruities for a couple of days, but the gambling devil is thinking that i should take my float just in case.
Anyone got any locations in Barm...... lol
