actually found a working Barcrest 'Top the Lot' fruit machine last week and took the opportunity to take a few photo's on me flash new mobile (and you can tell a luddite question follows....)

how can i get the photo on my phone to be my avatar on here?

ive not got a bluetooth compatible PC or the cables to connect. Sposedly my phone can make and receive emails as well as sms messages but i couldnt understand head nor tail of how this could be set up, apart from the fact it appeared to involve contacting hotmail for some complicated looking technical info

any help people?

send an mms, but send it as an email, not a message. thats how i do itthe send mms as email option should be the last screen before sending the mms. worth a try, if not pm me and i'll sned u my numba and i'll put it up for you.

if that doesn't work i think this will but not 100% sure. Text the picture to a non picture phone. On the non picture phone it will display a URL for you to see and download the picture.

that only works on o2 i believe if your signed up on there web site,
best plan is to get a data cable mate, surprised it didnt come with one, if not get one of ebay they are only a couple of quid

auto email settings on phone (nokia 6220) obviously work as my hotmail account had the image you can now see to the left

that looks well old: when was it about? seeing as i wasn't born in the 70s or remember the 80s i haven't come accross one old boy i assume thats the jackers you have lined up on the reels.

must be from 1985/6 (thinking of the age i was when i first played it in an arcade)

old 10p £1.50 JP barcrest. Had great sound and the graphics are as good as you get now

they are the JP symbols, which spell 'top the lot'. i actually made £2.00 profit when setting them up. Gambled from 5 to unlimited nudges off just over a quid but already had 60p banked. Then it repeated (has a lovely 'same again' 'not this time' display flash)

Havent played it for er, um, 10+ yrs at least and i still remembered the method - thats fucking too much fruit machines over the years for you!!!
