What signs are people looking for on VIU when you've had first JP/VIU streak? I'm talking chipped versions here? Is there a delayed pot after a few boards like big cheese and stuff?? Sometimes the don't dry up totally but don't keep ha[ppy enough to force again either.

Confucius also say "man who know Kebab has 60 inch waist"
Confucius finally add "man may deal, but man may not 'know' deal"

if its the 3rd revision then my answer would be not much really

can get delayed pots but its a risky business. say it cost £30 to get VIU/ JP, then at least another £10 to see if theres any potential left. if you're wrong (and if mach is being hit regularly chances are you will be) thats a £40 outlay for £25 return

with BC and co i found the signs far far more reliable (e.g. medium cash repeater off shots just after first JP is a good indicator that theres more on the way) - cant think of an alternative on VIU thats anything like as good

please someone, tell me i'm wrong as i enjoy this mach but theres little point in playing it now

Agree with the above, the 3rd version offers little in the way of signs after a JP / streak and usually costs £7/8 for a board and a straight lose with no gamble on the 2nd spin means its certainly dead.

Most annoying thing about these things is the amount of money it takes to get on the board. Terrible compared with other post millennium crests such as big cheese + clones which are far more generous.

Also big cheese offering £4 on board from JP is certainly a good sign for another JP to follow on that or the subsequent board usually through getting invincible from 6 cheeses. Though i have found lately that it can sometimes be nasty and offer the £4 + continuously after JP without giving the JP again forcing playing it up for a 2nd time, this happens especially on hot rocks in my experience.

How can you tell if VIP has been chipped?

Im playing a few of these round my area and i dont think they are chipped as they are playing well and things still working.

Are there any signs to look for?

If you are not aware of the VIU chip then what exactly is it you are doing that you believe is still working?

Top, thats exactly what i thought, first time i played it i noticed it played a little flat though then knocked 75 out of the local baracuda two weeks in a row for 50 profit both times. Had some further nice experiences on it, though since had problems.

Doesnt seem to be as bad as a super win streak as it does have a streak pot but rarely seems to drop it.

With big cheeses going out of fashion faster than beckhams hairstyles, we could really do with a new progressive streak pot.

Are you all aware there are rechips out for all the BC and clones.. not sure it actually fixes anything but I would bet my life that they aint all running the same program version.. I have played literally hundreds of times over like 50 diff machines and I have noticed differences between two distinct versions.. one which is standard and one which is really flat... the newer one offers extra life and has higher cash shots even when no where near JP ready.. i.e if you have £5+ a few times on BC you assume JP is close.. not so on these new ones.

I would be careful and learn to tell the diference. There streak pot is still there but it just gives it JP after JP till it is done.. none of this 1JP then hoping it is gonna give another.. the new one will just flicker right on the next board then the board after that I have found.

I have seen this version for Hot Rocks, BC and TD.

High Flyer and Superstar seem slightly different but still play along the same lines..
Why has it come to this?

Whooops went way off topic in that last post :P

As for VIU I have noticed signs such as if it gives you a high bonus the board right after JP it goes to JP right on that board.. wether or not it is invincible is another matter so you still gotta watch what you are doing and not miss some JP feature and watch where you are on the board if you are about to reactive super board cus something like +streak add could be right beneath the square you are on.

Also if it is allowing cash gambles to £3 or so it is probably a good sign also.. I normally dont bother with these anymore unless I can see one is gagging to get paying out.. Normally just force for VIU ready then knock a few boards back and then take VIU and see if it streaks.

I agree with the new profiles and have noticed extra lifes alot also, and you almost always lose it on the first ? now where as when it offered it previously it could last more than one ?. The new profile is actually alot more straight forward and claer athough the cycle between the streaks definatly seems bigger.

You also can rarely get a quick golden hold anymore on the newer versions and i believe it has definatly been chipped out, especially on high flyers which is a bitch for bonus nudges.

As for VIU, chipped or not chipped it can still offer JP from PAR if it has enough money in it. I have had it a number of times of all reels when not wanting to get mixed up in one so simply collecting PAR and been offered JP.
