Private gambling guide sub forum...

Hi members,

I had the idea (well after reading some of the current posts actually) of creating a new forum topic that only selected members could gain access to to stop people leeching the info without contributing.

What I thought was that the forum would be open to people who have been a member of gambling-guide for over a year and have over 200 posts to their name (people caught posting junk to get to this figure will have their post count reduced).

This is only an idea and I would appriate your feedback on here or by PM.

Having looking at the total post counts of memebrs there isnt that many people with 200 or more, so maybe this could be lowered to 100 depending on what you guys think? With 100 posts being the criteria there would be 11 people with access at the moment. Also once its been setup the 11 posters could vote for other members to be given access to the private board ...

Agreed. 200 is way to high as there are only 8 or so of us with that many posts.. .maybe 80+ posts would be better as there are other good posters in that group of people and everyone else could simply vote in/out people as needed.

i think its a good idea but seen as i have only posted a couple of times because i never thought to look on the net til this yr 4 fruity info!!!

this brings me 2 my point which is that i have a good knowledge of current methods and approaches so maybe you could "audition" people and ask them to write how they would approach a certain machine or the person could volunteer some mint info???

Although i dont have the amount of posts to qualify, i think its a good idea.

Dunno bout volunteering sum mint info as it may upset people. ie people telling the rat pack, honey money emptiers. Maybe just the known regular no bullshit posters who will obviously be selected decide who is allowed to gain access.

The only downside i can see is that it could end up with 1 or 2 givers and a dozen or so leechers.

Personally i think a 150+ posts would be a good limit (even tough it puts me well outside the group) because you have a good core membership (Stewart, Top the Lot, Kidgloves and several others) who do generalyy post a lot of constructive posts.

Or you could simply do it on the quiet and not pubically post that you have a hidden forum and simply invite members, if we don't know about it it cannot harm us but if its know there will be moaners.

i think that if the theory about leechers and givers would be true, how about a trust angle. I would, if given an emptier or a good method that i could recreate on machines in my area, definitely pay the giver of said technique some cash for their trouble, also make sure that our respective 'areas' do no overlap. In my opinion, there is too much distrust with fruits generally, which is understandable, but if one of the 'sacred circle' got a newie before the others, they would be due payment, and of course any reciprocal methods. Any ideas on this.......?

I think this is actually a v.good idea and every one could benefit from it some way, although i dont make the criteria yet i still think its a good idea which you should all use to your advantage as long as you are not leeching.

totally agree with this, I only play 1 smallish area and could stump up some cash for help given.
