I admit I am an the scrounge here for some info on a couple of older machines. I heard there was an emptier for barcrests 'the codfather' but never had it, just come in at a pub ner me so anything on it would be appreciated. Also a club machine 'viva mexico' this bag of shite stung me for £40 for NO BOARD and NO WINS! Anything on these two either on here or by PM would be gratefully received.
VivaMexico is a terrible machine if played 'normally',no question.
Codfather could be emptied via 'knockbacks' on early chips, but it isn't worth attempting on the latest version.
so codfather similar to lotta and fort boyard then........dont suppose you would elaborate on 'normally' re viva mexico, or does it involve a place where you buy a drink in a pub or summat similar?
Anyone expect to find a P1 around?
How quickly were Lotta Lucks/Jackpoteers/Boyards chipped out?
Seen a few of these but I expect them to be terrible programs.
Jackpoteers a better m/c for payouts & play.
Which version is the one in the bull and royal?

Not sure on version as yet, will play it sometime soon, was dropping (not refill place) and giving f all after £5 so I guess it may be a one off refill or it is gash program.
Im in Preston till Sunday night. Anything good happening there this weekend?
Blimey a blast from the past! If I remember rightly there were two revisions for lotta luck, one for the others to stop overcompensation, ala PCB etc
Nothing that I know of mate, I'm going out on Friday with my bro not clubbing it, just going around town, maybe friargate then around bull and royal area.
Will probably have a blast @ jackpoteers, but will also be going for a do at the £5 JP duff beer guide as apparently this plays the same as the 25 version.
Black-A-Moors has Hi Flyer in but what a dive that place is... dont think I'll be trecking there, and I'll probably have a do on Around the world in greyfriars.

Golden hold on a red number [3,7,11] and hold numbers for feature entry... gives a red every time. these were chipped out fast... am sure there are upto 7 [yes SEVEN] programs for codfather. not many people had this before it was chipped. [the LL method still worked anyhow]
latter programs eliminated this.. Later LL programs did not give stroll-on's for the last red needed for IM.
ill stick old shit like this in the archive on my site soon..
on the viva mexico front, its a sweet machine [imho]. i have made thousands on a £15jp on in my arcade... just playing for barcodes does the trick, likes to fling in a massive streak of 3-6jps when its going. u can tell when its happy too thankfully
