One useful tip, which most prob know anyway.... If you have the same number on both hi/lo reels, then it is a no-lose gamble.
I was thinking of a different machine when I made my sarcastic comment above, please accept my apologies.
As I have now realised which machine is been discussed, yes it is terrible, prob one of the worst machines on the circuit, don't think there is a right way to play this one.
I'm convinced they don't reach their percentage(then again,most us probably thought the same about lock'n'load the first few times we played one).
