Really is the easiest one to work out.

I did a Thats magic in my local for nearly 3 months and one in town for 2 but both are now chipped.

Id forget the machine in question because it's not great and there isn't that many about. Just for the record, it's probbably not the best idea to try and work an emptier out for yourself, the likely outcome is you will waste a lot of time and money.

mach needs to have a note changer and transfer button

insert note
when 'feature held' displayed press transfer button
look at whats happened (if nothing happened its chipped)
look at other feature bonuses & how you could use them

need approx £100 in notes for £200 in coins

doubt it wont be chipped anyway

Does anyone know any helpful hints and tips on "That's Magic"? It's such a boring machine, there has got to be more to it.

when its chipped, DONT PLAY IT you can get burned for £15 for ONE board that kills you higher thatn a 3 a 2, for NO WIN!!
