I joined fruit emu when it started but haven't looked on there for ages.I notice there are quite a few posters on their forums that work for leisure link etc,and there are are also a lot of other posters asking them for tips and 'cheats'. .
It's getting more like Arcadia all the time.Do 'internet players' have *no* sense.

I've been playing since long before the internet, but I've also been on the net since the early days of the cma fruit-list(around 1997?).
I can honestly say that while info has become more widespread,it's become increasingly worthless, and machines correspondingly worse.

The CMA and Jon Morris' guides on UKFMP really started the decline.
It's probably hard for most players who started after 1998 to believe, but even only a modestly clued-up player would have a huge advantage, and could turn a profit in almost any pub or arcade, anytime, with almost zero competition in the early 90's.

That is *never* going to happen again...so I ask ...why do any of us bother checking any of these sites?
Is it because we are addicted to them?
