    Hi

Just changed a couple of bulbs on my machine, then when i turned it on again it was going through the usual checks, when it got to the reels first three were ok but the forth (number reel) spins for quite a while then "REEL 4 ERR 24" comes up and keeps flashing.
Don't think i touched anything else while doing it.

Any idea's on how to rectify

    Cheers

    Steve

Try JPM forums (www.jpm.co.uk/formus) and visit the fruit machines forum. Usually some technical people lurkin in there.

Or you could contact the manufacturer.

    Kind Regards

Try backtracking, remove the bulbs you changed, maybe the voltage was incorrect for the bulb spec you used, there are 2 main voltage requirements for fruit machine bulbs 6v & 12v, both can be physically the same size so take care, using the incorrect type can draw more or less voltage from the PSU & may cause inconsistencies along the wiring looms feeding the front cabs, also may have some effect on the reel motor feeds, also check you have moved non of the looms that come close to the 4th Reel, as this can cause the error you described in some cases, good luck in tracing the fault.
