I had a nice Sunday session last weekend..went to Thomas's in Leicester and basically played all the oldish Barcrests....Monty Pythons Holy Grail seemed dead but out of nowhere filled the trail for IM which repeated but sadly no follow up boards..that's fairly new in there isn't it (Scott?). Went over to the Revolution which was backing from the off (strange for a Sunday) and played well until a crap Super mode dumped me low down on the trail but boost did the buisness for Loco Hold a few quid later. A Monty Pythons Flying Circus again seemed dead but I was £20 into it by then when out of the blue I get trueskill nudges and the red 7's are there..gambles out to the JP then £5 between boards and the next one goes IM and repeats..nice. The King Kebab was next..a tenner saw it gambling up to 7 kebab stacks then the extra 3 off the board for 10 cash knockouts...no follow up but I hate the way these can tease by offering a decent bonus almost straight away....then dying on the board anyway. High and Mighty cost £15 for super skill stop which gave the usual Mega Streak for £25 (anybody seen my post on uk fruit machine pages..can you help?).
Lots of piffling about on bar x chuzzies...no serious play and a board out of each party games unit ..3 of them nothing to write home about but one of them went for £85. Nice entertaining afternoon for a change from pubs and their crappy current releases.
Confucius say "man who know wombat know more than stupid looking monkey"
Confucius also say "man who know Kebab has 60 inch waist"
Confucius finally add "man may deal, but man may not 'know' deal"
A lovely Barcrest Fest, touch of nostalgia and enjoyment.
Has Thomas's got a retro section for 3yr old Hi-Tecs? I'd love to see a place devoted to old £8 token mach's, the heyday of hi-tecs
See UKFMP for little post of own on H & M (seems i play it differently to others)
Nice
I hardly bother with Thomas' my self as there are usually loads of sharks/addicts in there and you cant usually get anywhere with anything..
These guys are the ones who will jump on a machine when someone has lost even a couple of quid..
One thing I was meaning to ask you was about some Leicester 'Supercharged's... I no way am naive enough to think I am on the only one on this board who knows there are some in city centre. Just wondering how often you are doing em? One I played last night was not backing after a few quid so I just walked away.. was simply not worth the risk really since I didnt have enough cash on me to get stuck in so to speak anyways.
Why has it come to this?
To be perfectly honest Scott..even now I don't know the mtr...so haven't done any. Very rarely play in town..this was just a one off.

This supercharged just caught my eye as I was walking past a pub last night.. as I said.. tried a couple of quid and walked away.. could be chipped or if not.. already hammered.
I am not 100% on the emptier either something to do with the middle stack for nudges and getting the flags off this... supposedly the flags have no win value at all so the machine dont mind you getting them if done right..
Heard variations on this such as pressing hi/lo buttons, getting flags with 2 blasts?
Maybe someone can shed some light now its all chipped out pretty much?...
Why has it come to this?
Supercharged...hmmm.
Anyone got any unchipped?
And who will admit to knowing it more than a week before the big switch off?
Not I.![]()
I know the meth, but cant find ANY, chipped or otherwise.. mind you i havnt looked too hard, cant be arsed driving round on a wild goose chase. Probably be one of those machines that you find on some obscure caravan park while you on your summer hols![]()
I only got this a week before it went global.....and I didn't have a single location or the will to go hunting for them.
Good luck to anyone who finds an unchipped one though....from what I gather they were well chipped up.
