High Flyer Blues

Have had HF in local pub for a good couple months now, prev machine was fireball, both of which proved very profitable for me using loco/golden hold method for a streak. The HF paid out once a week but i had to play it twice a week as pretty much it had a routine of going for a frozen JP whilst backing, so i would leave it alone for a few days and then go back and force when backing for at least a £75 streak. ..........BUT...
About a week ago the a few of the lights on the machine had gone out, and made it quite hard to know where you were, anyway i still managed to get £25 from about £7-8, but when i returned ready 2 take the streak, it only gave me a measly single JP again, and i put most of that back in.
I went back in there last night and the same thing happened, has anybody else had this happen to them? Am i right in thinking the machine was chipped whilst the fuses were replaced, or should i carry on playing it.
I know the pub doesnt have any other players in it, so am hoping the machine will play itself out of that, but fearing the worst of my money making scheme.

dunno about a chip, but barcrest have been introducing 'flatter profile' chips of late for the likes of streaking machines. Maybe u were just unlucky and someone off the street came in and streaked it (done that to a few evil glares and murmurs before.....legged it quick lol)

it has happened to me before has well i used to have a high flyer in one of my locals and found that yes hitting it regularly was poss{about once a week friday or satuarday i did it } anyway 8 out of 10 streaks yeah were 75 but the other couple that were 50+ could have been caused by someone going on and taken a 5 repeater and hit the repeat once or twice or just like the thing wants to save a JP for the next streak these can go for 100 you know so maybe that was it but i carried on streaking it for months afterwards till they changed it so don't worry your money making sceme is still there.

Would probably have carried on playing it anyway, its a likeable machine, but not so much fun if the money doesnt come home in my pocket........
