ive worked as a software tester and cash machines were used as the classic example of how to test test test and test again to ensure there were no mistakes

apart from some clutz loading £20's into the £10 stack or a complete system failure (almost always not software related) then there's fuck all way of tricking a ATM

if its not bollox i'll gladly pay several thousand in ready cash - serious - whenever and whereever you wish to be enlightened

In all serious,there have been a couple of occasions when these have gone wrong and payed out £20 notes instead of tens.
There was a story on the news not long ago about people queuing through the night to use one,until the police became suspicious.

yes - as i said, the machine itself cant *know* what denomination any given note in a tray is, some clutz will have loaded the notes in the wrong trays
